Harvey York sat casually on a couch while Liam Stone trembled in front of him. 2

After being lectured by Tyson Woods for the past few days, Liam knew about the true identity of Harvey York. When he faced Harvey, he could only obey. Not even a hint of resistance was to be found in him.

Liam knew if Harvey even showed a hint of what he's capable of doing, getting Liam killed is but a trivial task.

"I heard that you're still covering for the Brooke family. Looks like you're doing well for yourself on Niumhi."

"Sir York, these are just past relationships. If Sir York deemed that the Brooke family is unworthy, my men will cut ties with them from today onward!" "Your men?"

"Right, I heard that this Kane Brooke fellow is pretty high profile. Have you been backing him up?" Harvey asked.

Liam seemed a little confused after hearing this. He asked softly, "Sir York, Kane Brooke is technically an heir of the Brooke family. He's usually really respectful in front of me. That being said, I do hear him being pretty bombastic when he’s outside."

After hearing Harvey talk about Kane, Liam reminded himself that this is the turf of the Brooke family, and h e started to notice that things are a bit suspicious.

'Did the Brooke family displease Sir York? If not, with his identity alone, why would he come here to meet m e himself?'
