Yvonne Xavier was about to say something when her gaze swept across the crowd and she was utterly shocked that instant she saw someone familiar.

Harvey York!

She managed to spot Harvey who was seated in the corner. She had no more appetite for the meal and dashed toward Harvey's direction. She was shrouded with anxiety.

Everyone’s attention was focused on her and wondered what she was up to. Yet, she walked toward the man who was clad in clothes bought from the street stalls. When she stood next to him, the expression on the faces of many changed drastically.

This was especially true for the Zimmer family. Numerous people’s faces have changed that instant!

What was with this live-in son-in-law? Had this worthless trash offended Secretary Xavier? That she had to sprint over to him the moment she caught sight of him?

A chill ran down Senior Zimmer’s spine. Secretary Xavier was someone who should never be offended. If Harvey had upset her in the past, he would cut him up into pieces later.

"What the... What's with this harbinger of misfortune again?!" Zack Zimmer was on the verge of breaking

into swear words.

"Old friend, long time no see.” Harvey interjected and stood up smiling before Yvonne had the opportunity t o say a word.

Yvonne was slightly stunned but she was quick on the uptake. She regained her senses immediately and faintly laughed. "H-Harvey... Who knew that we would meet again after graduation? What career ranking are you currently at?"

All of the Zimmer family heaved a sigh of relief at these words. Fortunately, they were just old friends. Else, how would a loser like Harvey know someone of such high ranking as Secretary Xavier?

Zack ran over in nervousness. When he heard their conversation, he started insulting Harvey, "Secretary Xavier, why would you talk to a loser like him? Don't you know? He’s not only well-known in the Zimmer family, he's also famous in the whole of Niumhi! He's the live-in son-in-law of the Zimmer family. He only has one hundred as his daily pocket money! Secretary Xavier, don't get too close to him or else, his misfortune might rub off on you!" 2

Yvonne shuddered at his words and looked at Harvey i n disbelief. She knew that Harvey stayed in hiding for three years after leaving the York family. Yet, she never imagined that he was enduring such disgrace over these three years. It was no wonder when he returned, he did so with towering force! 1

Zack did not wait for Yvonne to reply as he continued,

"These kinds of people are losers. Our family is preparing to kick him out for good. He will never be able to step into our circle for the next eighteen generations!”
