In a panic, he quickly shot himself into the air and threw the pouch onto Han Jue’s back. The small bag landed quietly in the thick wolf fur.
Han Jue only felt a tiny weight and assumed it was some debris.
Then Stow quickly wrapped his vines around Han Jue’s front limbs and climbed up onto his back.
He flattened his leaves, pretending to be just another piece of forest debris stuck to the fur.
"Perfect," he whispered. "Stealth mode."
No one noticed.
To them, it just looked like a few stray vines had been blown into the air and were now clinging to the wolf’s body.
Han Jue only felt something tickling his fur and looked down, coming face to face with a very angry plant that was baring its teeth silently at him.
Han Jue: "..."
And just like that, the group of powerful beasts rushed into the distance, chasing after Xuan Long’s trail.
Behind them, only Su Mingxuan and Luo Shen remained.
They turned toward the direction of Dragon Beast City.
The tribe slowly began to move. Their old home was gone. But a new path was waiting ahead.
On the other side, far away from the tribe, the small cave near the sea was quiet and warm.
The fire crackled softly, giving off a gentle orange glow.
Su Qinglan had finally washed herself clean after everything that had happened. The salt from the sea, the dirt, and the blood from the fight with the witch doctor were all gone.
She stood near the fire, wearing a new dress.
It was the one Lan Yue had given her.
The cloth was unbelievably soft. It felt light and smooth against her skin, almost like water. It was made from a special silk that could only be found deep in the sea.
No wonder it was so comfortable.
But the design...
Su Qinglan looked down at herself and felt a little embarrassed.
The dress was very different from what she usually wore. It was a low cut top that only covered her chest. Her shoulders and stomach were completely bare, and a short skirt was wrapped around her hips.
It was beautiful, but also very revealing.
In the past, even though she lived in the beast world, she always wore clothes that covered most of her body. At most, her shoulders would be bare, but the dress would still be long.
This one felt... too bold.
Her ears turned slightly red, but she soon shook her head.
"It didn’t matter," she murmured softly.
After all, she had warm clothes to wear and a safe place to stay. That was already more than enough.
Her gaze then shifted to the small figures near the fire.
Two tiny cubs were lying on a soft blanket. Their fur was still a little damp from the bath, but the warmth of the fire was slowly drying them.
She had carefully bathed them in warm water earlier. Now, she was gently wiping their bodies with a soft cloth.
"Baby, are you hungry?" she asked in a soft voice.
The cubs made faint sounds, their tiny bodies wriggling.
Su Qinglan smiled gently.
She reached into her space and took out the feeding bottles. The system had at least been kind enough to keep all the cub supplies safe. Even after everything that had happened, the bottles, formula, and other items were still there.
"That’s good," she whispered in relief.
She quickly prepared three bottles of formula milk.
