After eating her fill, Su Qinglan finally felt full of energy. She wiped her mouth and stood up, ready to go outside and return to the fox tribe area to check on the new stone house.
As soon as she stepped out, she noticed Stove and his little wife resting peacefully in the warm sunlight.
She had just woken up in the morning and had not seen them earlier, but now both plants were basking comfortably under the bright sun.
Su Qinglan smiled and walked over to them. Stove immediately noticed her. He waved one of his leafy hands happily and called out in his cheerful voice, "Master! You are awake!"
Su Qinglan reached out and gently patted his big leaf. "Yes, I’m awake. Have you eaten?"
Stove licked his lips with satisfaction and nodded. "Yes, Master! I ate a whole roasted two legged beast by myself this morning." To prove it, he let out a loud burp right in front of her face.
Su Qinglan scrunched up her nose at the strong smell of roasted meat. "You disgusting plant! Don’t you know how to behave? Go brush your teeth right now!"
She waved her hand in front of her nose to push the smell away.
Stove’s head immediately drooped sadly. "Master, you can’t dislike me like this. It is just the wonderful smell of roasted meat. How can you think it is bad? It is the most delicious smell in the world!"
Su Qinglan completely ignored his complaints and turned her attention to the little flower plant. The small plant had grown nicely and now reached almost up to her knees.
Suddenly, a soft green glow appeared in Su Qinglan’s palm.
The little flower immediately perked up. She stretched out her two leafy hands and latched onto Su Qinglan’s palm, sucking the green energy greedily while making soft, happy cooing sounds.
Even though the little flower could not speak yet, her actions were very vivid and child like.
She tilted her head, wiggled her leaves, and showed clear joy, just like a small child receiving candy.
Su Qinglan gently petted the little flower’s leaves and said softly, "Grow beautifully, okay? Don’t worry about anything. I will take good care of you."
The little flower nodded her stem up and down enthusiastically.
Then, the little flower suddenly looked at Su Qinglan and pointed one of her leaves forward.
A tiny, sparkling dewdrop formed on the tip of the leaf. It shimmered beautifully in the sunlight.
The moment Su Qinglan looked at the dewdrop, she felt a gentle wave of refreshing energy wash over her body. It felt cool and pure, making her feel lighter and more energetic.
"What is this?" she asked curiously.
The system’s voice immediately sounded in her mind: "Host, quickly take this drop! This is a spiritual drop that the little plant has conjured. It is very beneficial for the cubs. It can help them awaken their abilities at a very young age. This is extremely helpful. Take it right away!"
Su Qinglan’s eyes lit up. She carefully reached out and let the small dewdrop fall into a small glass bottle. It felt cool and full of gentle power.
The system was in such a hurry to collect it that it also provided her with a small bottle. She had never seen it in such a hurry. This must definitely be something good.
She smiled warmly at the little flower and said, "Thank you, little one. This will be very good for the cubs."
The little flower cooed happily again and waved her leaves, looking proud of herself. Stove watched from the side, still a little sulky about being ignored by both females in his life, but he stayed quiet.
Su Qinglan carefully stored the spiritual drop safely. With this precious gift, she felt even more excited to go back to the tribe.
The new stone house was waiting, and now she had something wonderful to help her three little cubs grow stronger.
She patted both plants one last time. "Stay here and rest well. I will come back later."
