Chapter 627: Chapter 627: An Mo Meets the Newborn Cubs

After the labor was finally over, Su Qinglan felt as though every bit of strength had left her body. Her eyelids were becoming heavier and heavier.

Looking at the people surrounding her bed, she forced herself to smile. "I’m really tired." Her voice was soft and exhausted. "I’m going to sleep."

Hu Yan’s gaze immediately softened. He gently adjusted the soft fur around her before saying quietly, "Then sleep. We will take care of everything."

The other beast husbands nodded as well.

"Leave everything to us."

"Rest well."

"You’ve worked hard."

Hearing their voices, Su Qinglan finally relaxed completely.

Within moments, she fell asleep.

The room immediately became quieter.

Grandma Lin carefully checked on the cubs one last time before helping arrange them comfortably. After making sure both Su Qinglan and the babies were fine, she finally left to get some rest herself.

Meanwhile, Hu Yan and Xuan Long remained behind.

The two men carefully helped clean Su Qinglan and changed all the bedding. Although they were powerful warriors, they handled everything with surprising patience. Every hide was replaced, every corner of the room was cleaned, and before long the entire house looked spotless once more.

The four cubs were placed together on the large bed. The mysterious white egg was placed inside a small basket nearby. The basket was lined with beautiful white fur and soft hides.

It had originally been Xiao San’s little sleeping nest, but since they had not prepared anything for an egg, they were temporarily using it as the little one’s house.

The white egg sat quietly inside. From time to time, it would wiggle slightly as if expressing satisfaction with its new home.

Outside the room, however, someone was reaching his limit.

An Mo was furious. Ever since Su Qinglan had gone into labor, he had been blocked outside the house.

Not only had they refused to let him enter, they had even stopped him from seeing the cubs.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became.

Several times, he had almost wanted to beat all those beast husbands senseless.

How dare they order him around like that?

If he had not been genuinely worried about Su Qinglan, did they really think they could have stopped him?

The thought made him grind his teeth. Finally, after everything was cleaned up and settled, Hu Yan walked out. "It’s done."

The moment those words left his mouth, An Mo immediately pushed past him and entered the room.

The first thing he saw was Su Qinglan. She was sleeping peacefully beneath the soft hide. Her breathing was steady and Her expression was relaxed.

The tension in An Mo’s heart instantly eased. Without realizing it, his footsteps became lighter. He slowly approached the bedside.

Standing nearby, Hu Yan quietly watched him.

An Mo’s eyes remained fixed on Su Qinglan.

Hu Yan’s eyes remained fixed on An Mo.

The atmosphere became strangely tense.

Several moments passed. Eventually, Hu Yan relaxed slightly. An Mo had stopped beside the bed and showed no intention of moving closer. Although Hu Yan knew he was being somewhat unreasonable, he still could not help it.

An Mo was the benefactor of their entire family. Without him, many things would never have been possible.

Yet no matter what, Hu Yan could not comfortably allow another male to approach Su Qinglan while she was in such a vulnerable state.

The fact that An Mo was allowed inside the room at all was already because he was considered almost family.

Fortunately, An Mo did not seem interested in causing trouble. After quietly looking at Su Qinglan for a while, his gaze finally shifted towards the cubs. The small bed beside Su Qinglan contained four sleeping cubs.

An Mo walked over. The first thing he saw was the two snow wolf cubs. The little twins were sleeping soundly together.
