A week passed in the blink of an eye.
Ever since Su Qinglan had given birth, life inside the house had become busier than ever before.
Fortunately, her recovery progressed remarkably well. After several days of rest, the exhaustion brought on by childbirth had mostly faded away.
The pale complexion she had worn during those difficult days had long since returned to its usual healthy glow, and she was now able to move around the house freely without any discomfort.
The cubs were growing quickly as well.
Perhaps because they all possessed powerful bloodlines, their growth far exceeded that of ordinary beastman cubs. In only eight short days, noticeable changes could already be seen in each of them.
The two little snow wolf sisters had become surprisingly energetic and could crawl across the floor with astonishing speed, often leaving the adults scrambling to keep up with them.
The lion cub was even more outrageous. His body seemed to grow larger with each passing day, and his size had nearly doubled compared to when he was born. He really doesn’t look like a newborn. Even his strength was almost comparable to Xiao San.
Meanwhile, the fox cub had become increasingly clever. His bright grape-like eyes were always darting about, constantly observing his surroundings as though he were secretly plotting something.
Even the mysterious white egg had changed significantly. Although it still showed no signs of hatching, it had noticeably grown stronger, and everyone could clearly sense the increasingly powerful life force contained within it.
However, during the past week, the busiest part of Su Qinglan’s life had not actually been raising cubs.
It was receiving visitors.
Every single day, guests arrived at the house carrying gifts. At first, the presents only occupied a small corner of the living room. Then they filled an entire room. Before long, a second room was taken over as well. Eventually, there was simply no space left in the house.
In the end, they had no choice but to move most of the gifts to An Mo’s home for storage.
Even An Mo was left speechless by the sight.
Throughout his entire life, he had never seen so many gifts gathered in one place. The number of presents far exceeded those received when Xiao Yi, Xiao Er, and Xiao San had been born.
After all, things were very different now. They were living in Dragon Beast City, and the influence of Dragon Beast City was on an entirely different level.
The first visitors naturally came from Su Qinglan’s family.
Her mother arrived together with all of her beast husbands, and the moment they stepped through the door, every grandfather immediately surrounded the cubs.
They had brought enough gifts to fill several carts. Animal skins, tiny clothes, toys, beast milk, medicinal herbs, protective treasures, and countless other necessities were piled high throughout the house. Before long, the living room looked more like a warehouse than a family home.
Yet all those gifts were quickly forgotten the moment they saw the five cubs gathered together.
Even though they had already heard about the births beforehand, witnessing the scene with their own eyes was an entirely different experience.
Five cubs.
A female giving birth to one cub was normal. Two cubs were considered fortunate. Three was already rare enough to become a topic of discussion throughout an entire tribe.
But five?
It was almost unbelievable.
