Meanwhile, Xiao Yi’s eyes were shining brighter than the sun in a way that was very dangerous.
The moment Hu Yan saw that expression, alarm bells rang inside his head because he knew that look...it was the one Xiao Yi made right before doing something incredibly stupid.
"Don’t," Hu Yan immediately said.
Xiao Yi blinked innocently and asked, "Don’t what?"
Hu Yan replied, "Whatever you’re thinking."
"I’m not thinking anything," Xiao Yi insisted.
"You’re definitely thinking something," Hu Yan countered.
Xiao Yi looked offended, but Hu Yan remained unmoved. The room fell silent for a moment, and then with a whoosh the little tiger suddenly transformed into his beast form.
A fluffy orange tiger cub appeared, and before anyone could react, the cub launched himself directly toward the window.
"XIAO YI!" Hu Yan shouted, but it was too late.
The little tiger successfully jumped through the open window, and for exactly one second everyone watched his heroic leap.
Then came the plop as the tiger disappeared completely, swallowed by the snow.
The room became silent as the cubs, Hu Yan, and Han Jue all stared at the spot where Xiao Yi had landed, which now looked completely normal with only a small bump in the snow and no tiger visible anymore.
Xiao San’s eyes widened as he said, "Elder Brother died," and the room exploded.
The lion cub immediately roared with teary eyes, the fox cub jumped onto the table, and the wolf twins started howling.
"We have to save him!" The lion cub rushed toward the window, but the fox cub immediately shouted, "No! It’s too dangerous!" He said it in his own fox language.
The lion cub looked touched for a moment, thinking his little brother cared, until the fox cub continued, "What if the snow eats me too?"
Xiao San was already dragging the incubator toward the window, declaring, "My little sister must witness this!"
Hu Yan felt a powerful headache coming on and commanded, "All of you stop moving!"
The room instantly froze as the cubs looked at him, then outside, then back at him, before all of them pointed toward the snow and said, "Father. Elder Brother is gone."
Hu Yan nearly cursed as he rolled up his sleeves. "That little brat... When I catch him, I’m definitely beating him."
Han Jue calmly stood up and said, "You stay here."
His eyes were fixed on the snow outside with a strange excitement hidden within them, for after all he was a snow wolf and this weather felt like home as the snow practically called his name.
Han Jue transformed and jumped outside. The moment his paws touched the snow, he looked significantly happier.
Meanwhile, inside the house the cubs crowded around the window, their little noses pressed against the window like a row of dumplings.
Han Jue didn’t even need to search...a tiger tail was sticking out of the snow while the rest of Xiao Yi remained buried underneath.
Han Jue stared, then sighed, thinking the little tiger had managed to survive less than ten seconds outside, which was truly impressive.
Grabbing the tail, he pulled, and a frozen tiger cub emerged from the snow. Xiao Yi’s whiskers, ears, and eyelashes were all covered in snow, making him look like a tiny snowman, yet his eyes were still sparkling as he exclaimed, "Father! It’s amazing!"
Han Jue was speechless at how this cub had learned absolutely nothing.
A moment later he carried the little tiger back and casually tossed him through the window.
