The journey back to the main estate felt less like a walk and more like trying to wrangle an overly affectionate, giant puppy.

Ever since they had officially mated, An Mo had turned into a relentless, sticky menace. His broad arm was wrapped tightly around Su Qinglan’s waist, practically hoisting her off the ground with every few steps, while his massive, snow-white feathered wings flared out behind him, fluttering lazily and occasionally wrapping around her to trap her against his side.

He couldn’t go more than three seconds without leaning down to press a warm, lingering kiss somewhere on her face.

An Mo only chuckled, his golden eyes sparkling with victorious joy. Instead of backing off, he tightened his grip, his feathered wing sweeping around her waist to draw her closer as he leaned down until his lips brushed the sensitive shell of her ear.

He whispered a sentence so blatantly dirty, so utterly shameless about what he planned to do with her that Qinglan’s brain practically short-circuited.

Qinglan gasped, her eyes snapping wide in sheer mortification. Without thinking twice, her hand shot up, grabbing his sensitive ear and giving it a brutal, sharp twist!

"Aww! Ouch, ouch, my sweet female!" An Mo threw his head back, letting out a deep, boisterous, rich laugh that echoed straight across the quiet courtyard of the main estate.

He didn’t care about the pain at all; in fact, he pulled her whole body flush against his chest, his large wings tucking around her like a soft cocoon, and leaned down to seal her mouth in a fiery, passionate, completely breathless kiss to stop her scolding.

Qinglan’s eyes widened in horror because right at that exact moment, the heavy oak doors of the main estate swung wide open.

Alarmed by An Mo’s boisterous, echoing laughter, the entire household had rushed out into the courtyard to see what was happening.

And instantly... the entire courtyard froze into absolute, dead silence.

Qinglan, still pinned against An Mo’s chest and surrounded by giant white feathers, slowly broke the kiss and turned her head toward the crowd.

Standing in the front row was an entire gallery of tiny, wide-eyed cubs. Her own tiger cubs, the little snake cub, the lion cub, the fox cub, and the twin wolf cubs were all sitting in a perfect row, their tiny jaws practically resting on the cobblestones.

They blinked their massive, innocent eyes in complete, unblinking shock at the wild sight of their mother being devoured out in the open by a kissing angel.

Right beside them stood her beast husbands.

Their handsome faces had turned terrifyingly dark. Their slitted pupils narrowed as they glared at An Mo’s shameless hands still wrapped tightly around Qinglan’s waist, a heavy, suffocating pressure settling over the yard.

Beside the husbands, Shen Mochen stood completely frozen, a half-eaten piece of fruit in his hand. His little toddler daughter, sitting on his arm, mimicked her father by staring with giant, round eyes, sucking on her tiny thumb.
