"I’m asking seriously!"

"I can see that."

Lin Muyu lowered her voice to a barely audible whisper. "I will go in heat...soon."

"And if this keeps going with that crazy lion and my first beast husband, I’m definitely going to end up pregnant again!" Lin Muyu looked deeply distressed by the prospect.

"I really don’t want another cub right now!"

Su Qinglan tilted her head. "Why not?"

"Because I don’t!"

"That’s not an explanation."

"It’s explanation enough!" Lin Muyu huffed, throwing her hands up.

"I already have two cubs! Do you know how incredibly noisy they are?! They run everywhere, climb everything, eat all day, and scream whenever they want something!"

Su Qinglan nodded in deep agreement. "That is very true."

"I am not ready to go through all of that again so soon!"

"You’re still young," Su Qinglan noted smoothly. "So you can always have more later."

"Exactly! Later!" Lin Muyu pointed a finger toward the sky as if declaring an absolute law. "When my two cubs are little, rown up! When they are much, much bigger and can take care of themselves! Then I’ll think about it!"

Su Qinglan nodded warmly. "That makes total sense."

Lin Muyu blinked, staring at her in surprise. "You’re... you’re not going to lecture me?"

"Why would I?" Su Qinglan shrugged. "Whether you want more cubs or not is completely your own choice. You already have two healthy babies. There’s zero reason to rush."

Lin Muyu’s defensive posture melted away, replaced by profound relief.

Su Qinglan then smiled and nodded. "And to answer your question...yes, I have something that can help with birth control."

Lin Muyu’s eyes lit up instantly. "Really?!"

Before Su Qinglan could even process it, Lin Muyu threw her arms around her waist, squeezing her in a tight hug. "Qinglan, you are the absolute best!"
