Contract Marriage With My Billionaire Boss (Venus and Aaron) novel Chapter 71

Chapter 71

VENUS

“There’s nothing between us.”

Lies. Bitter, choking lies.

“I give you a free pass. Go back to fucking Andrea. I don’t care.”

God. More lies.

Because the truth?

When he said he wasn’t sleeping with her, my chest loosened like it had been tied with barbed wire. That relief? It was dangerous.

Because I knew exactly where this was going. I was falling-sinking into Aaron Sinclair-and I couldn’t stop it.

And worse? He would never fall with me.

Whatever he felt for me wasn’t affection. It was hunger. Lust. The kind that sets your sheets on fire and leaves your soul cold.

He’d said it himself:

“Don’t confuse chemistry with meaning. I can want your body and not give a damn about you.”

Yeah. Message received.

So I did what I always did when the walls cracked-I pushed.

“I’m tired,” I said, eyes fixed anywhere but his. “And I have to get up early tomorrow.”

“For what?” His voice dipped, acidic. “To meet Dorian?”

I sighed. “I’m not in the mood for this.”

I tried to move, but he didn’t budge, looming over me and blocking my path like a storm.

“Dorian and I are in a cordial working relationship,” I snapped. “There’s nothing more. I don’t go around shoving my tongue down the throats of people I claim to work with.”

“Don’t do that,” he warned, voice low and sharp.

“Do what?” I bit back. “Hold you to your own goddamn standard”

His jaw ticked. His eyes flared.

“I told you there’s nothing between Andrea and me.”

“Same way there’s nothing between us, right? Just a contract. A signature. A few convenient kisses.”

“Venus-”

“What?” I cut in. “You told me not to interfere, and I didn’t. I was giving you the distance you demanded, until you barged in

here.”

I turned away. It hurt too much to look at him.

Chapter 71

“You treat everyone like they’re expendable,” I whispered. “And was stupid enough to think… we were friends.”

My voice broke. Just slightly. But it was enough.

Aaron’s expression twisted.

“No,” he said, his tone final. Like a slammed door.

“We’re not friends.”

And there it was. Proof.

But then he crossed the space between us in two strides.

His hand slid over my waist, fingers dragging heat through my clothes as he yanked me flush against him.

“Friendship is too innocent a word for what we share.”

He kissed me.

Hard.

It wasn’t gentle. Wasn’t sweet. It was raw, claiming, furious like he was punishing me for every wall I’d built.

He pulled back, his smirk pure sin.

“Do friends do this?” he asked-and his hand slid low and squeezed my ass.

I gasped. My whole body lit up.

“Or share filthy little thoughts about each other?” he growled in my ear, sending a shiver straight down my spine.

He pulled back just enough to meet my gaze, eyes dark, gleaming.

“Or touch themselves thinking about that said friend?”

My cheeks flamed.

God-he knew.

He heard me.

“W-what?” I breathed.

“Stop pretending, Venus. I’ve heard you moaning my name more than once. You and your precious battery-powered

friend.”

I choked. “How did you-?”

His grip tightened, his body hard and ready against mine.

“Oh.” The word slipped out before I could stop it.

“That’s what you do to me,” he said darkly.

“But… you don’t even like me,” I whispered, heart pounding.

All rational thought evaporated. I was heat and need and fear.

Chapter 71

“I don’t have to like you to fuck you.”

The words landed like a slap and still, I didn’t move away.

His hands roamed my body with a sinful ease, cupping my ass ain, holding me firm.

“Let’s do this,” he said, voice dropping to a wicked promise. “Let fuck each other out of our system. No strings. No lies. Just truth. Raw and dirty.”

“I… what?” I blinked, dazed.

“You have functioning ears, Venus. You heard me.”

“I-I-” My voice cracked.

He gripped my chin, forcing my eyes to his.

“You what, Venus?” he murmured. “Gonna play innocent now? Hm? Yeah?”

His thumb brushed my bottom lip, slow and possessive.

“Say the word. Or keep pretending. Either way…”

His gaze dropped to my mouth.

“I will ruin you.”

My lips parted, but nothing came out. Just breath. Just need.

Aaron’s eyes gleamed-sharp, wicked, knowing.

“Thought so.” His voice was molten. “You can’t lie to me, princes. Your mouth might try-but your body always gives you away.”

I swallowed, knees trembling.

“This is… this is wrong.”

“Wrong?” He laughed-low, dark, delicious. “No. This is inevitable.”

His hand slipped up my spine, threading into my hair.

He tilted my head back. His mouth hovered over mine, breath a warning and a promise.

“You’ve wanted this since the first time I caught you moaning my name in the bathroom.”

My whole body locked.

“How did-”

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” he whispered, smug as sin.

My fingers curled into his shirt. I should push him away.

But I didn’t.

“You think about me when you’re alone,” he whispered. “Don’t yu?”

I didn’t answer.

Chapter 71

“Bet you moan my name when no one’s listening.”

A whimper escaped me. Shame and hunger tangling tight.

“Still denying it?” He pressed his hips against me. Hard. Unrelenting.

I gasped, my nails digging into his arms.

“Feel that?” he said darkly. “That’s what you do to me.”

His grip tightened in my hair, eyes locked on mine.

“You want this just as badly, Venus. Stop pretending.”

“I-I’m scared,” I admitted, voice barely a whisper.

Something shifted in him.

Not softer. Not kinder. But darker.

More protective. Possessive.

“Good,” he growled. “You should be.”

His lips grazed my jaw slow and deliberate.

“Because once I have you…”

A kiss beneath my ear, my knees buckled.

“I won’t stop.”

Another along my throat-my head tipped back.

“Not until you’re ruined for anyone else.”

Then his mouth claimed mine again, harder and deeper.

A kiss that devoured every rational thought I had left.

“You ready to be mine?” he rasped against my lips.

“Completely. Filthily. Utterly.”

I couldn’t speak. Couldn’t breathe. Could only feel.

His teeth grazed my lower lip.

“Well?” he pressed.

“I want to hear you say it.”

His smile was wicked and unholy.

“Beg for it, Venus. Go on…

Be a good girl for me.”
