Countdown to My Divorce (Rachel and William) novel Chapter 732

Chapter 732

That would really stir up chaos!

If Rachel actually got together with Tyler, who knew what kind of drama Howard would cause.

She already had enough problems unsolved. She had privately given away the project in her hands. How was she supposed to explain that later?

There was also the whole situation with Yvette.

With so many issues stacked up, Rachel didn’t have the time or energy to even think about romance.

Rachel replied briefly.

[I don’t have the time to think about this right now. I’ll deal with it later.]

Once she sent it, she shut her phone and even deleted her entire chat with Cecilia.

She lay on her side, but her mind refused to settle. Over and over again, she asked herself the same question:

Did she really like Tyler?

But it didn’t seem possible. How could she like him?

She admitted the man was outstanding, but in her heart, she had always assumed their relationship was nothing more than a contractual one. To suddenly leap from that mindset to seeing themselves as an actual

couple was hard for her to accept.

The sound of the shower cut off. Rachel hurriedly closed her eyes, but then she remembered she was still supposed to coax Tyler to sleep. Pretending to be asleep right now made no sense.

So she sat up instead and started scrolling Instagram.

Tyler walked out, toweldrying his hair. Rachel glanced over absentmindedly, only to catch sight of his lean waist, defined chest, and firm abs, all narrowing down into that tantalizing Vline disappearing below his

towel.

Without thinking, Rachel swallowed.

The room was so quiet that even that tiny gulp rang out like a drumbeat.

She froze as soon as she heard it herself. Her expression stiffened in shock.

What the hell? Oh my goodness! This is so embarrassing!

Her cheeks turned red, and she couldn’t even bring herself to look at him.

Tyler smiled in amusement. He glanced at her with a teasing glint.

Rachel, do you have a thing for abs?

Of course Rachel didn’t deny it! Who didn’t like a good body? If she tried to argue otherwise now, fakelike she was covering something up. It was better to admit it straight.

it would sound

Who doesn’t like a good body? Don’t you guys like looking at women with great figures? My taste is totally

normal.

Tyler smiled elegantly. Of course it’s normal. What I mean is, if you like it, you can look all you want. A girlfriend checking out her boyfriend’s abs is pretty natural, don’t you think?

Rachel blinked, suddenly struck with a sense of clarity.

Right. She was his girlfriend right now. What was so strange about looking at her boyfriend’s body?

She tilted her chin up at him. Then why were you trying to hold back your laughter just now? What was that

about?

You were being hilarious. You wanted to look, but you didn’t dare. Sneaking glances like a kid trying to sneak candy and then getting caught. It was cute.

He finished toweldrying his hair and stepped closer. His tall frame loomed as he dropped one knee onto the bed beside her and leaned in. His voice dropped low, roughedged and husky, tinged with temptation.

Call me honey, and I’ll let you look all you want.

Rachel’s gaze landed on his Adam’s apple. The way it shifted when he swallowed somehow looked sexy.
