Chapter 116
Hale raised an eyebrow, his expression curious yet measured.
“I’d rather observe for now,” I replied calmly. “Watch how you all handle things. I have commitments at the college—my players come first. For the moment, I’ll stay as a member. Nothing more.”
He studied me intently, then nodded with slow approval. “Honest and wise. The position will remain open. Whenever you’re ready, Mr. A—it’s yours.”
Noah breathed out softly, though his mask concealed any hint of emotion. Still, I could sense the heat radiating from him, his chest rising and falling rapidly. He was trying to prove himself—to prove us.
For a fleeting moment, I felt it too—the strange, almost intoxicating sense of recognition. A feeling of belonging that bordered on euphoria.
Once the paperwork was signed and sealed, I leaned toward Noah, lowering my voice so only he could hear. “Noah… it’s time I give you a name. I’m not comfortable using your real one here. The mask helps, but a proper name will keep you safer.”
He lifted his head just enough to meet my gaze, confusion and relief mingling on his face.
“You used to go by X,” I murmured, my thumb gently brushing his jawline. “How about we bring that back?”
His lips parted slightly, breath catching in surprise. “How about… Xion, Sir?” he offered, his voice dropping so only I could hear. “It’s from my favorite video game—Kingdom Hearts.”
I almost laughed. Damn Noah. Of course he’d pick something like that. “Xion. I like it.”
“Xion it is. Nice to meet you officially, young man,” Hale said with a warm smile as he led us back toward the stages.
Then, another Master stepped forward, and I recognized him immediately. Lean and sharp-eyed, dressed in slate gray like a blade wrapped in silk—a predator disguised in a suit.
Beside him stood the girl I remembered vividly. Her black hair cascaded down like a glossy curtain, molten amber eyes glowing with mischief, and her flawless body was wrapped in a silver fishnet so tight it was almost as if she wore nothing at all. Her nipples pressed sharply through the cords, bold and provocative, her skin shimmering with a dusting of gold—as if she were some twisted trophy displayed on a pedestal.
Her smile slid smoothly toward Noah—sweet, knowing. His cock twitched instantly beneath its cage.
I wanted to growl, to yank him away from her. Instead, I forced a polite smile, shook the Master’s hand, and spoke the expected words. Because that’s what men like me did—calm on the surface, burning inside.
She was the best, and she knew it.
Her amber eyes lifted, locking onto Noah’s with a slow, seductive curl of her lips. “If it pleases you, Master… I’d love to play with him. He’s so very beautiful.”
Beautiful. And mine.
The Master’s gaze shifted back to Noah, a sly glint in his eyes. “And what about you, Xion? What do you think of my Luna?”
I felt the cage around Noah strain immediately, his cock betraying him even as he pressed closer into my leg, mortified.
“She is gorgeous, Sir—” he stammered.
“Well then,” the man purred, turning to me, “it’s settled. Don’t you agree, Mr. A?”
I offered a polite smile, a mask for their sake. “Maybe in the future. We’ll see.”
Then I guided my boy forward, feeling his blush burn through the mask and his body heat sear against me. Inside, every nerve in my body was on fire.
