Crossing lines (Noah and Aiden) novel Chapter 131

Chapter 131

Aiden

The past couple of days had been nothing short of a whirlwind. The campus was buzzing with energy—students flooding in, classes starting up, practice sessions packed back-to-back. It was that relentless college chaos that left barely a moment to catch your breath. As a result, I’d hardly crossed paths with Noah outside the field. Not that I was eager to see him—especially not with the relentless question hammering away in my mind since that game night.

Had Noah taken Lexie home?

God, the thought that he might have been with someone else was like a stubborn echo bouncing around my head. This wasn’t the first time I’d found myself obsessing after a party, and I knew it wouldn’t be the last. What kind of messed-up game was I tangled in? I wasn’t supposed to get emotionally involved. Yet here I was, consumed by feelings I shouldn’t have, falling for someone I couldn’t—at least, not right now.

Every day, I watched him push himself to the limit—on the field, in class, dragging himself through tutoring sessions. He needed at least a 3.0 GPA to hold onto his scholarship, and while he was smart, the hours just didn’t add up. Between lectures, studying, and practice, he still managed to carve out time for the gym.

At exactly the times he knew I’d be there.

I’d caught him lurking near the weight room at least three times, pretending like he wasn’t waiting for me. But I wasn’t fooled. Every time, I adjusted my own schedule, going early in the mornings just to avoid running into him. It had been two days since he kissed me in my office, and honestly, I didn’t trust myself alone with him any more than I trusted his self-control.

That Friday morning, I’d just wrapped up my workout when the first wave of students began streaming onto campus. I headed to my office, ready to shower and tackle the day ahead.

Before I could even say a word, there was a sharp knock, and the door swung open.

“Happy Friday, Sir.”

Noah.

“Morning, Noah. And it’s coach here,” I said evenly, trying to keep my tone neutral. “What can I do for you?”

He closed the door quietly behind him, the click echoing in the small room.

“What are you doing here?” I asked, already feeling my heart rate pick up.

“Making sure we’re safe.” Without warning, he leaned over my desk and kissed me.

And damn it if that didn’t unravel me.

I stiffened, caught completely off guard, yet inside, my whole body ignited—every nerve ending sparking to life. Just seeing him—fresh from the shower, damp hair scented faintly with coconut, those piercing blue eyes that seemed to see right through me—was enough to wreck me completely.

I swallowed hard, forcing control into my voice. “Stop whatever you’re planning. And open the damn door—you think locking us in here looks less suspicious?”

But before I could finish, his mouth was on mine again, this time harder, silencing me. A mischievous grin curved his lips. “You know exactly what I’m planning. It’s been a while, and I’m here to suck your dick. It’s time.”

He said it like it was the most natural thing in the world, like it was just part of our routine.

“No, Noah. It is definitely not time. You get your reward when I say you’ve earned it—and not here. You need to leave,” I warned him firmly.

“You’ve fucked me right on this desk before, so…” He smirked lasciviously, cupping himself through his pants. Fuck, he was making me salivate. But no matter how much I wanted him, this was absolutely not happening.

I took a deep breath. “Noah, that was after school hours, and the place was empty. Now? The hallways are packed with students. Please, get out.”

He chuckled softly, stepping around my desk. “Come on, Coach. Live a little. No one’s coming to see you at eight a.m.”

When I stood up to push him out, he shoved me back down into my chair. My pulse raced as he crouched beside me, fingers already fumbling at my belt.

“Are you insane? Noah, stop—”

But he just grinned, determined, tugging at the buckle. “Your mouth is saying one thing, Coach, but the huge bulge in your pants is screaming, ‘Suck me loud and clear.’”

I was about to grab him and throw him out when—

A sharp knock rattled the door.

Harris smiled. “Eastfield was a solid start, but you’ve got Franklin Tech next Friday. They’ve got a deep bench and a strong defense—you’ll need to be sharper.”

“Absolutely,” I said through clenched teeth, gripping the edge of the desk so tightly my knuckles turned white.

Meanwhile, Noah shifted beneath the wooden paneling, completely hidden, fidgeting and adjusting. His knees pressed into me, restless and impatient, cramped like an animal trapped in a cage. The brush of his hair tickled my stomach; his breath was scorching my skin.

Harris continued, oblivious. “I was particularly impressed with Blake. That kid’s got guts.”

Oh, you have no fucking idea…

Noah’s fingers slipped beneath the waistband of my briefs, freeing my cock. I instinctively squeezed my legs together under the desk, trying to warn him off, but he only pushed harder, stroking me with maddening patience.

“He’s young, but he has presence,” Harris went on. “If you can keep his grades steady and his head clear, he’ll be a real asset to the program.”

I could practically feel the smug smirk on Noah’s face. I couldn’t wait to wipe it off later. My heart lurched. My cock throbbed. I forced the director a tight smile. “I’ll make sure of it.”

And then Noah’s lips replaced his hand.

My entire body jolted.

Harris leaned back in his chair, rambling about funding proposals and scheduling another alumni dinner. His voice blurred into static in my ears, my mind splitting in two—half calculating polite responses, half burning alive from the overwhelming sensation building between my thighs.

“We’ll be ready,” I said evenly, gripping the desk so hard my knuckles ached. “The Wolves are focused. You’ll have nothing to worry about.”

But inside, I was a mess—nerves shredded, my system on fire, torn apart by a mix of fury and desire.

Goddamn you, Noah. I’m going to murder you for this.
