"I know Amelia's birthday is coming up. She's doing great right now. The Nygard Residence is trying to get close to her, and Jeremy treats her extremely well.
"So unless something unexpected happens, she will definitely have a birthday celebration. Even if she doesn't host one herself, someone else will do it for her."
After following Raymond for more than 10 years, Regina had seen him quietly prepare birthday gifts for Amelia every single year, so she knew the exact date by heart.
On top of that, she already caught wind of rumors, and her instincts told her this year would be especially grand.
"What does her birthday have to do with us? She won't invite us," Gianna said, bitterness seeping through every word.
Just imagining that fake girl soaking up attention, with three brothers and Emery doting on her and the Currans favoring her too, made Gianna feel sick with rage.
Not just them, even Cora and Nydia, those old women, liked her, so they would definitely be invited.
The thought made Gianna's chest tighten painfully.
If not for that fake girl, all of that love should have belonged to her.
"We don't need to attend. If we show up and something accidentally goes wrong, Amelia and Jeremy will suspect us first.
"So it's better if we're not there."
"If we're not there, how are we supposed to do anything?" Gianna frowned, unable to see a way.
Hearing that, Regina once again felt her daughter was slow and clueless.
Who said you had to be present to act, and had she never heard of striking from behind the scenes?
"Don't worry. If the Jordans attend, Sabrina will definitely go too. She looks composed, but there's no way she feels fine about Amelia."
Regina could tell Sabrina liked Jeremy, and losing her fiancé meant she could not possibly feel calm or free of resentment.
As long as Sabrina harbored hatred toward Amelia, Regina could make use of her.
Of course, Brielle also clearly despised Amelia and was narrow-minded enough to be easily guided.
But the one Regina truly loathed was Brielle.
Because Brielle was the legitimate daughter of Esmond, the man Regina loved most, she naturally saw her as an eyesore.
And Brielle was foolish, all talk and no substance, obviously incapable of handling anything serious.
Sabrina was more suitable.
She was not Esmond's daughter, yet he relied on her heavily.
She was clever, patient, and carried countless grudges against Amelia.
She was ideal.
"Sabrina? You think she can pull it off? That woman is extremely proud. She won't be manipulated so easily."
Gianna actually felt that the idiot Brielle was simpler to control.
"Stay out of this. I'll take care of it. You just rest at home."
Regina did not want to explain further, because saying more would not help, and it would only waste her breath.
Lately, she found it harder and harder to tolerate the sight of this useless daughter.
