"What a disgusting thing!"
The Queen Wraith of Demise’s expression twisted in disgust at the sight of the beast, yet it was not its grotesque form that repulsed her, but the sheer density of Chaotic Essence it exuded.
Unlike the black mountain, which leaked its Chaotic Essence in all directions, this creature possessed absolute control over its aura, compressing it into something far more concentrated—and infinitely more terrifying.
"What kind of beast is that?" Yuan asked, as he had never seen or heard of such a being before.
"I don’t know," said the Queen Wratih of Demise. "But you’ll get rid of it, right?"
"I might have no other choice..." Yuan sighed with a bitter smile.
Meanwhile, the unknown beast remained eerily still, its gaze fixed solely on Yuan after its emergence—completely disregarding the Queen Wraith of Demise despite her close proximity. In fact, it did not spare her even a single glance.
Suddenly, it parted its massive jaws, revealing its sharp teeth, and a hoarse, eerie voice resounded from within, "How dare a mere human covet my power..."
Yuan raised a brow at the beast’s words, a flicker of surprise crossing his face. Yet it wasn’t its ability to speak that caught him off guard, but it was the fact that it had seen through him and recognized him as human.
"What are you?" Yuan asked.
"I am Ancient Chaos, one of the most primordial beings in this universe!" The beast declared.
"Ancient Chaos? Never heard of you."
"Ignorant human... I have existed long before your kind ever came into existence..."
"Then enlighten me. Why were you hiding inside that mountain?"
The Ancient Chaos narrowed its eyes and fell silent for a moment before speaking, "What you just witnessed was not my emergence... but my birth."
"Your birth? So you’re nothing more than a newborn?" Yuan said, his disbelief evident. It was hard to fathom how a being born mere moments ago could speak so clearly, let alone possess such overwhelming power.
Suddenly, a chilling sensation crawled up Yuan’s spine as the Ancient Chaos began to exude overwhelming killing intent.
"Had you not stolen my power and interrupted my birth, I would have been born whole! For your crime, I shall devour your existence!"
The Ancient Chaos shot toward Yuan in a blur, its immense body tearing through the air as both heads lunged forward, jaws stretched wide to devour him whole.
However, before it could reach Yuan, the Ancient Chaos snapped its jaws shut—biting into nothing but empty air.
’This is—!’
Sensing something amiss, Yuan reacted instantly and left his position.
The very moment he moved, a black hole manifested where he had stood. It vanished less than a heartbeat later, leaving behind a gaping void in space itself, as though everything within it had been completely erased from existence.
’What the hell?!’ Yuan cried inwardly.
The attack resembled his Demon Devouring Sword’s ability but appeared far more versatile and powerful.
"Oh? You actually managed to dodge that?" The Ancient Chaos commented in a somewhat impressed tone.
"So you can also use Void Manipulation, huh? Even though you were just born..." Yuan remarked with a cold smile.
Realizing this would be no easy battle, Yuan immediately activated Absolute Dragon Awakening and retrieved Number One Under Heaven. And seeing that the creature bore some resemblance to a dragon, he also summoned the Dragon God’s Vengeance without hesitation.
