Chapter 2512: Learning the Eternals’ Cultivation Technique

"Why the sudden change of heart? Aren’t you worried that I might try to seize your body?" Shiva sneered sarcastically.

"I’m only going to learn it first. Whether I actually cultivate it or not will depend entirely on its contents," Yuan calmly replied.

"And what about the risks? You do understand that there is a very high chance you could die, right?" Shiva said, heavily emphasizing the word ’very’.

After all, unlike merely learning forbidden knowledge about Eternals, Yuan was attempting to learn their cultivation method itself—something that would never even be considered a possible topic for a mere mortal like him under normal circumstances.

"I will be fine," Yuan replied in a casual, almost nonchalant tone.

Shiva narrowed her eyes at him and said, "I will ask you again. Are you certain you want to learn this cultivation technique? There’s a good chance that you might not even be able to use it."

"You’re really that worried about me, huh?" Yuan chuckled, leaving her speechless.

"You promised to help me regain my true body! I am not going to let you die so easily!" she exclaimed angrily.

"I appreciate the concern, but since I am already in the process of tempering an Eternal Constitution, I will need to learn your cultivation technique sooner or later."

"..."

Shiva fell silent, as she’d forgotten about Yuan possessing an incomplete Eternal Constitution.

’Since he’s practically half Eternal at this point, he might not need to sacrifice too much to learn our cultivation technique...’ she thought inwardly.

"Alright. Prepare yourself."

Yuan nodded and took a minute to mentally prepare himself before declaring, "I am ready."

Without the slightest hesitation, Shiva grabbed the top of Yuan’s head with a claw-like grip before directly transferring the cultivation technique into his soul.

The instant the information began flooding into him, Yuan’s entire expression went blank. Even his eyes lost all focus, becoming hollow and lifeless, as though he had suddenly turned into a mindless husk.

Not only was the cultivation technique of the Eternals fundamentally different from those practiced by mortals, but they were also unimaginably profound.

The moment Yuan received the technique, it felt as though he had been thrown into an endless ocean with no visible bottom, slowly drowning in it.

Very quickly, noticeable changes began appearing across Yuan’s body.

His skin, which had been flawlessly smooth only moments earlier, suddenly became dry and wrinkled. At the same time, his well-refined physique rapidly withered, his muscles shrinking as though all vitality had been drained from him in an instant.

In mere moments, he looked as if he had suddenly aged into an old man.

Shiva narrowed her eyes slightly upon seeing Yuan’s condition, but she was neither shocked nor alarmed by it, as she had already anticipated such a reaction.

"What can we do?!" Zi Xuan immediately asked in a panicked voice.

"Since he isn’t actually injured, recovery treasures will be useless," Shiva replied calmly. "What he needs is something capable of replenishing his lost longevity."

"Treasures capable of restoring longevity...?" Zi Xuan muttered with a dumbfounded expression.

Although Tian Qiyuan’s world was unimaginably rich in resources—perhaps one of the wealthiest places in existence when it came to materials—it contained almost nothing outside of blacksmithing resources. As such, treasures capable of restoring longevity simply did not exist there.

Although Yuan still possessed his spatial ring, Zi Xuan was incapable of accessing it due to being a sword spirit. The same applied to Mu Xuelian, who was not the ring’s owner and therefore could not open it either.

As for Yuan himself, he was far too weak to even lift a finger, possessing only enough strength to continue breathing.

Suddenly, Shiva returned control of the body to Mu Xuelian, who immediately said, "I will share some of my longevity with him."

Without another word, she knelt beside Yuan and extended her hand toward his chest.

After taking a deep breath, Mu Xuelian began extracting her own longevity before carefully transferring it into Yuan’s body.

Almost immediately, Zi Xuan noticed a visible improvement in Yuan’s condition. His breathing became steadier, and some of his vitality gradually returned, making him look less like a dried corpse. However, he still looked like a sick old man.
