"Why the hell do you care about my goals? Moreover, why do you want me to summon an Ancient when you already have two of them standing right beside you?" Qian Chu responded with a deep frown on his face.
"Oh? You knew they were Ancients?" Yuan muttered.
"I am not stupid," he coldly sneered. "Only an Ancient could possibly exude such a ridiculous presence, not to mention their ability to command the demons like slaves. I may have never seen an Ancient before, but I am aware of their capabilities."
"Is that so? Well, is it really so strange that I want to know your goals? I don’t know how you escaped the purge and arrived in the Nine Heavens, but you could have lived a peaceful life. Yet instead, you chose to become the leader of the Demon Sealing Clan and scheme behind the scenes with the Forsaken. Since you’re already captured and have no way out, you might as well tell me everything and relieve yourself of some of that burden."
"..."
Qian Chu fell silent for a moment before responding in a low voice, "My goal is simple. I want revenge against the demons for purging my kind, and the humans for assisting them."
Yuan raised an eyebrow and said, "I understand your hatred for the demons, but I was the only human who helped them. Why bring the entire Nine Heavens into your mess?"
A cold smile tugged at Qian Chu’s lips as he answered, "Because human sacrifices are necessary to complete my second goal."
"To summon an Ancient, correct? How does that work? These two are pretty certain that there’s no method to summon them."
"If you remove the restrictions on me, I can demonstrate to you how it’s done," said Qian Chu with a mysterious smile. "And you don’t need to worry about me running away."
"Run away? That concern never even crossed my mind, as there’s no way for you to escape," Yuan said with full confidence.
Not only were there two Transcendents beside him, but he himself could easily catch Qian Chu if he attempted to escape.
"Then why are you hesitating? Free me, and I’ll give you exactly what you want. Or, you can just kill me right now."
"Free him," Angela suddenly said to Yuan. "I want to see what kind of nonsense he has up his sleeves."
"I am also curious," said Helena.
"I was going to do that even if he didn’t say anything, but he clearly has an ulterior motive."
"So what? No matter what happens, there’s nothing he can realistically do to us," Angela spoke with a calm smile.
Yuan pondered for a moment before saying, "Let’s bring him outside before I remove his restraints."
Some time later, they left Tian Qiyuan’s world and brought Qian Chu somewhere in the Primordial Realm.
"Don’t disappoint me now, Qian Chu," Yuan said to him before removing his restraints, allowing him to move and use his cultivation again.
After being released, instead of acting immediately, Qian Chu took his sweet time cracking his neck and stretching his limbs, acting like a prisoner who’d just regained their freedom.
Rather than being annoyed, Yuan was intrigued by Qian Chu’s behavior, as he was acting like someone who no longer cared about anything.
Qian Chu then lifted his head and gazed in a certain direction in the void, as though staring at something invisible to the naked eye.
"Soon... I will avenge all of you..." He muttered.
