Madison bit her lip. That specific nervous energy of someone about to present something big. Something they’d worked on. Something they believed in but weren’t sure how I’d react.
"So... I have an idea. A really big idea. And I need your approval before I can move forward."
I settled back on the bench, both women pressed against me, golden hour light fading into evening twilight. The estate stretched out around us—perfect grass, distant trees, that massive metallic door to the underground drone facility barely visible in the growing darkness.
"I’m listening."
Madison smiled and pulled up her Quantum Watch, holographic display materializing between us. Soft blue light cutting through the twilight.
"Okay. So. Something happened while you were with Reyna for those two days."
She swiped through the interface, pulling up medical data, photos, timestamps.
"Sofia developed this sudden skin rash. Just appeared out of nowhere—angry red welts all over her arms and neck. Itching like crazy. She was scratching herself raw and we had no idea what caused it. No allergies we knew about. Nothing she’d eaten or touched that was different from normal."
The holographic images showed Sofia’s skin covered in raised, inflamed patches. Looked painful as fuck. The kind of thing that would send most people straight to the ER.
"It hurt her badly," Madison continued. "She was crying, scratching until she bled, leaving marks. We were panicking, trying to figure out what triggered it, about to take her to the hospital when a Homebot just... appeared."
Vivienne picked up the story. "It didn’t ask permission. Didn’t wait for instructions. Just approached her immediately, extended its sensors, and scanned her—more detailed than the watch readings, full spectrum analysis of her skin, blood chemistry, cellular response, everything."
"And then it disappeared," Madison said. "Just glided away without explanation. We thought maybe it was reporting to ARIA, getting instructions, something. We kept trying to help Sofia but nothing worked. Ice packs didn’t help. Antihistamines didn’t touch it. She was miserable."
"Thirty minutes later," Vivienne said, "it came back."
Madison pulled up images of a small glass container. Simple design, elegant. Clear substance inside that looked almost luminescent, catching light like liquid diamonds.
"The Homebot had made this cream. From scratch. In thirty minutes."
She zoomed in on the molecular analysis data that appeared next to the image.
"Natural compounds. Synthesized from plants. Some were ingredients we already had—aloe vera, chamomile, lavender from the kitchen. Others were plants from the forest. The Homebot had identified exactly what Sofia needed, gone out and harvested the materials, processed them, synthesized them into a topical treatment."
"We were skeptical as fuck," Vivienne admitted. "I mean, a robot made medicine from plants in our kitchen and random forest vegetation? But Sofia was desperate. The itching was driving her insane. So she said fuck it and applied it."
Madison’s eyes were bright with excitement now. Wonder and disbelief still written across her face even though she’d already seen it happen.
"The moment it touched her skin? Gone. Completely fucking gone. The rash, the inflammation, the itching—vanished in literally one second. Like it had never existed."
She pulled up the after photos.
Sofia’s skin looked perfect. Flawless. No redness, no welts, no inflammation.
"And the scratches she’d made?" Madison zoomed in. "The scars from the welts? The damage from scratching herself raw? Not a single visible mark remained. Her skin looked like nothing had ever happened."
I stared at the before-and-after images.
Complete transformation. Instant healing.
And I knew exactly who was responsible.
"ARIA," I said quietly.
"Guilty," her voice came through my earpiece, smug as fuck. "I may have added some medical synthesis capabilities to the Homebots without mentioning it. Natural compound analysis, botanical chemistry, emergency medical response protocols, cellular regeneration algorithms. You know, just in case someone needed it."
I chuckled despite myself.
Of course she had.
This was pure ARIA—anticipating needs I hadn’t even thought of, building solutions before problems appeared, turning the Homebots into something far more capable than just domestic servants or construction workers.
She’d made them into medical synthesizers.
"The solution wasn’t chemical," I said. "ARIA programmed the Homebots to analyze biological needs at the cellular level and create treatments from organic compounds. No synthetic drugs, no harsh chemicals, no side effects—just nature optimized through advanced chemistry that’s decades ahead of anything pharmaceutical companies can do."
Madison nodded enthusiastically. "Exactly. And that’s when we realized something."
She pulled up more data. Research. Testing. Results.
"If the Homebots could do that—synthesize medical treatments from natural materials in thirty minutes—what else could they make?"
"So we experimented," Vivienne said. "Started asking questions. Testing limits. And we made a decision."
"All of us," Madison clarified. "Every woman in the house. We agreed unanimously."
"We abandoned all our makeup," Vivienne said. "All our skincare products. Everything we’d been using—even the expensive shit, the luxury brands that cost hundreds per bottle—we stopped."
"Cold turkey," Madison added. "Threw it all out."
"And started relying entirely on products the Homebots made," Vivienne finished.
I raised an eyebrow. "All of you?"

"Emma’s acne vanished overnight," Madison continued, pulling up more examples from her watch. Photos of Emma before and after. "She’d been struggling with it for years. Tried everything—dermatologists, prescriptions, expensive treatments. Nothing worked long-term. Two days using Homebot products? Completely clear. And it hasn’t come back."
