Christiana's POV
I felt the firm pressure of Alex’s hands kneading into my shoulders, and for a moment, I almost lost myself. His touch was skilled, deliberate, and despite every voice in my head telling me to stop him, my body betrayed me. A low moan slipped past my lips before I could catch it, and I immediately cursed myself for the weakness.
"Alex," I managed to say, my voice uneven, barely a protest.
He didn’t respond. He didn’t need to. The way his fingers expertly dug into the tense muscles of my back spoke volumes. I closed my eyes, letting the tension melt away, each knot he worked out of me unraveling the resistance I had tried to maintain all evening.
“Just relax, Christiana,” he murmured, his voice low, almost commanding. “You need this.”
I should’ve told him to stop. I should’ve stepped away, made him leave. But instead, I leaned back into him, my mind racing between what I knew was right and how badly I wanted to keep feeling the comfort of his hands on me.
I could feel the heat rising between us, simmering, building up like a slow burn. His hands moved lower, brushing the edges of my spine, the warmth of his palms spreading through me. I swallowed hard, trying to regain some semblance of control, but it was slipping through my fingers.
“You didn’t have to stay,” I said, my voice softer this time. “But... thank you.”
“You’re overworking yourself,” Alex replied, his breath close to my ear now. I could feel his chest lightly pressing against my back. “Someone has to look after you.”
I opened my mouth to protest, but the sensation of his hands working magic on my muscles made it impossible to form the words. His touch was intoxicating. I didn’t want to admit it, but in this moment, I needed this. I needed him.
Just as I was about to pull away, Alex's hands stilled, and for a second, I thought he was going to leave. But instead, he stepped in front of me, his eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that made my heart race. There was something unspoken between us, something neither of us could deny, no matter how hard we had tried.
“Christiana,” he said softly, his voice like a whisper against the storm of emotions inside me. “You don’t have to do everything alone.”
I didn’t know when it happened or how, but suddenly, we were closer, his breath mingling with mine. His hand brushed my cheek, tender and gentle, an opposite to the tension simmering between us. My body weakened with every second that passed, and before I could stop myself, I leaned into his touch.
"Alex..." I whispered, a silent plea that even I didn’t understand.
One thing led to another. His lips were on mine, firm yet soft, and the world seemed to tilt. I didn't know what I was thinking, maybe I wasn't thinking at all. All the walls I had built, all the boundaries I had set, shattered in an instant. His kiss was hungry, but there was tenderness in it, a longing that I hadn't felt in so long.
I kissed him back, every ounce of resistance crumbling as my hands found their way around his neck. There was no room for doubt, no room for hesitation. We were caught in the pull of something bigger than us, something I couldn’t fight.
The kiss deepened, his hands moving to the small of my back, drawing me closer. Heat flared through me, and every inch of my skin buzzed with electricity. I knew this was dangerous, knew that it could change everything. But in that moment, all I wanted was to be lost in him.
“Christiana...” he murmured against my lips, his breath hot and ragged.
I didn’t respond. I couldn’t. My body was doing all the talking for me, and I let it. Whatever this was, whatever was happening between us, I couldn’t stop it now.
But in the back of my mind, a question lingered, one I wasn't ready to confront just yet: What happens when the moment ends?
Quickly, I shoved this out of my mind.
Because I could feel my heart pounding in my chest from anticipation, uncertainty and lastly desire.
Alex pulled me closer, his hands roaming my back with a gentle urgency that sent shivers racing down my spine. My senses were heightened, every whisper of air and every brush of fabric against my skin amplifying the warmth between us.
“Are you sure about this?” he asked, his voice was a low rumble, filled with uncertainty and a fierceness that made my breath hitch.
I searched his eyes, and in that moment, I saw both desire and concern. It was as if he was asking for permission, even though we both knew we had crossed a line that could never be uncrossed.
“I… I don’t know,” I admitted, my voice trembling a bit. “But I want this.”
His lips curled into a smirk, one that held promise and mischief. “Then let’s not overthink it.”
Before I could respond, he captured my lips again, the kiss deepening as our surroundings faded into oblivion. I melted against him, surrendering completely to the moment. His hands slid down to my waist, pulling me against him as if he wanted to fuse our bodies together.
Every nerve ending in me ignited, and I could feel the weight of his body pressing against mine, strong and commanding. It felt thrilling, terrifying, but so right. As if the world outside had vanished, and it was just us, tangled in our desires.
“God, you’re beautiful,” he murmured, his breath warm against my ear as he pulled away just enough to gaze into my eyes. “I can’t believe I’m here with you.”
My cheeks flushed at his words. “You make me feel things I didn’t think I could still feel,” I confessed, my voice trembling slightly.
Oh, this was stupid. Get your act together and kick this man out, Christiana! A part of me screamed in my head. But the other was against it.
Alex let out a low chuckle, a sound that sent another wave of heat through me. “Then let me show you just how much I want you.”
With that, he took my hand, guiding me to the couch. The soft fabric welcomed me, and I sank back, watching as he knelt before me, a predatory glint in his eyes. My heart raced as I realized what was coming next.
“Christiana,” he murmured against my skin, his lips trailing lower, teasing and tantalizing. “You have no idea what you do to me.”
The words sent a rush of heat through me, pushing me further into this intoxicating haze. “Show me,” I urged, my voice breathy and filled with need. I wanted to experience everything he was willing to give, to lose myself completely in this moment with him.
He responded with a low growl, his lips capturing mine again, more fervently this time, as if he were trying to erase all the distance that had ever existed between us. The kiss deepened, a blend of hunger and tenderness that made my head spin. I tangled my fingers in his hair, pulling him closer as I surrendered to the passion that enveloped us.
Alex’s hands roamed down my sides, exploring my body with an urgency that matched the wild rhythm of my heart. Every brush of his fingers ignited a trail of fire along my skin, and I pressed against him, seeking more, needing the warmth of his body enveloping me.
“God, you’re so responsive,” he breathed, his voice thick with desire. “It’s like you were made for this.”
I couldn’t form a coherent response; I could only feel. The world around us faded completely, leaving nothing but the sensations of his hands, his lips, his body against mine. I was lost in him, lost in the wild passion that surged between us.
When his lips traveled lower, trailing soft kisses down my neck, I tilted my head back, giving him complete access. The sensation sent waves of pleasure coursing through me, making me gasp as I surrendered to the sensations. I could feel the heat building inside me, an electric current that pulsed with each movement.
“Alex,” I breathed, urgency filling my voice. “I need you.”
He pulled back for a moment, searching my eyes, the heat of desire flickering in his gaze. “Are you sure?” he asked, his tone serious but laced with hunger.
“Yes,” I urged, my heart racing. “I’m sure.”
A flash of something dark and primal crossed his features, and in an instant, he was back on me, capturing my lips with an urgency that left no room for doubt. I could feel the weight of his body pressing me against the couch, the delicious friction igniting every nerve ending in my body.
His hands found their way back to my waist, lifting me effortlessly as he maneuvered us, positioning me against him. I could feel his heart pounding in time with mine, the rhythm steady and fierce. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this,” he murmured against my lips, his breath hot and needy.
I couldn’t help but smile against him, a mix of exhilaration and vulnerability flooding through me. “Neither do you,” I replied teasingly, even as I melted against him.
With a low chuckle, he leaned in, capturing my mouth again with a fervor that stole my breath. Our kisses became a dance of exploration, urgency, and fervent longing. I surrendered myself to him, giving in to the need that coursed through us, a connection that was both electrifying and utterly consuming.
“Let go, Christiana,” he whispered, his hands guiding me, urging me to embrace the moment. “Let’s get lost together.”
As I melted into him, the world beyond our heated embrace faded entirely. It was just us, tangled in passion, exploring the depths of desire that had built up between us for far too long. I was ready to embrace every intoxicating second of it, no reservations, just raw, unfiltered passion.
In that moment, I didn’t care about the consequences. I didn’t care about what this would mean for us tomorrow. All that mattered was now. And as our bodies intertwined, the fire between us grew hotter, consuming everything in its path, leaving only us and the undeniable connection that surged like a heartbeat in the silence around us.
