Chapter 305: Steamy Bath

Steam curled against the walls as the warm water shimmered with scented oils. Kaiden leaned back against the edge of the bath, communication artifact discarded after he ran away from Alice’s needy antics. Now, four pairs of eyes were on him. Some ever so slightly shy, some mischievous, some outright demanding the services of his hands.

He obliged.

"Honestly..." Luna was the first to speak, her petite frame still resting atop his lap, her small hands hugging his wrists to make sure he wouldn’t let go.

Her voice carried a little whine, but her body leaned into his every movement. "That dungeon was insane. Everything was wrong about it... The atmosphere, the stench, the way it remade routes... it felt as if the place itself wanted to eat us alive."

Kaiden slid the sponge down the slope of her shoulder, tracing the delicate bones of her back before sliding lower, beginning his work on the curve of her hips. "Your feeling isn’t that outrageous... After all, halfway through the dungeon, it transitioned from having the general theme of undeath to being all about gluttony."

He wasn’t just done speaking, however. "You fought beautifully, my Storm Valkyrie..." he murmured with an immense amount of pride and adoration evident in his voice. "Your storm cut through it all. And that’s not all. Not only did you do an excellent job as a combatant, but after what happened with Nyx, you quickly stopped blaming yourself and got your head back into the game. You’re amazing."

"Hmmm..." she hummed contentedly while a shiver rushed up her spine at his words.

"My gremlin bestie is really good at adapting! She’s the group’s cockroach!" Nyx chimed in from the side, sporting a happy smile.

"Shut it."

"Hey, I meant it positively! You’re the cutest cockroach in the world!"

"You’re lucky Kaiden is holding me back..." Luna spat through gritted teeth.

"Is he? All I see is him washing your body with a sponge! Hehe, you just don’t want to stand up and leave your throne!"

"Time is up, isn’t it?" Aria spoke up suddenly, voice full of expectation. She might’ve asked a question, but in reality, she uttered a demand. This was further evidenced by her sharp eyes, which were resting squarely on Luna’s.

Luna met Aria’s gaze for only a moment before choosing the path of resistance. She looked away, pretending not to see the storm brewing in those sharp, predatory eyes. It was obvious the Storm Valkyrie knew her allotted time was up, but decided to ignore it.

That choice only made Aria’s eyes darker.

The Moon Valkyrie rose slowly from the water, making droplets cascade down her flawless skin.

Her figure was all perfectly sculpted lines that made her look like some untouchable runway goddess dragged away from the world and plunged into this sultry bath.

The flare of her hips was devastatingly feminine, her long silver hair was now wet, clinging to her heavenly skin, and her perky chest bounced sensually as she stood. She was the representation of almost any man’s most idealized woman, but she wasn’t content with what she was given, evidenced by the lean muscles she’d cultivated through painstaking effort in the gym.
