Divorce Failed! My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 27

Maeve hesitated. "You're not worried this will expose... whatever this is between us?"

Andres' tone was firm. "He can be trusted."

"If you're fine with it, I'm fine with it." Maeve wanted answers as badly as he did.

Just like last time, Andres had ended up in her bed wearing only silk pajamas.

If they were going out, he needed help.

He called Hans.

An hour later, Hans showed up at Maeve's door with a bag of clothes.

The moment he stepped inside and saw his boss sitting at the table eating instant noodles, Hans genuinely wondered if his eyes were malfunctioning.

Maeve waved him in. "Sit wherever. We'll head out after he finishes."

Hans had seen plenty in his life, but it was hard to reconcile this scene with the infamous Mr. Andres.

While Hans's brain fought itself, Andres finished his noodles and summarized what had happened.

By the time he was done, Hans was speechless.

"Mr. Andres... you and Miss Vance are dealing with a paranormal event. Like, for real."

Andres' face was stone. "We're meeting Master Moreno."

In the occult world, Master Moreno had a reputation—high standing, real authority. He'd also been Old Mr. White's go-to astrologer and fate-reader.

Andres had dealt with him before. The man kept his word. He was trustworthy.

They quickly set a time and place: a quiet private lounge on the edge of town.

Before they went, Hans called ahead. The owner was instructed to close the place—no random customers.

Waiting outside Maeve's building was Andres' flashy executive van, as always.

Watching Mr. Andres and Miss Vance walk out side by side, Hans couldn't help thinking: What a perfect pair. Like something out of a magazine.

Maeve's face tightened the moment she saw the van. "We're driving separately."
