Divorce Failed! My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 271

The whole thing was caught on a street-side security camera.

Because it touched on too many sensitive details, Maeve—and the officer who'd nearly died—were placed under official protection. The footage itself was sealed away in an evidence archive.

The dealer Maeve had stabbed straight through the chest hadn't died after all. They brought him back, and then the courts got their turn.

Drug trafficking. Life sentence.

He was already serving time at a maximum-security prison.

The news ran a photo—him from the waist up in an orange jumpsuit—alongside a copy of the court's ruling.

And just like that, the truth behind the "Maeve killed someone" scandal finally came out.

At the same time, major outlets covered the story from every angle. And in those reports, they even praised Maeve—so young, yet so brave—a genuine, real-life anonymous hero.

She'd taken down a dangerous trafficker, saved an undercover narcotics officer, and stopped a tragedy before it happened.

After watching the segment, Murray turned to Molly. "So," he asked coolly, "what do you have to say now?"

Molly looked like her brain had short-circuited.

The counterfeit-drug accusation had evaporated. The "murder" had flipped on its head.

How had everything spiraled into this?

She stared blankly at Andres. "I'm sorry, Mr. Andres. I—I thought…"

Andres cut her off. "From now on, you're not setting foot in this house again."

Molly panicked. "But my mother still lives here."

"You have one hour," Andres said flatly. "Pack up and move out together."

He looked at Murray. "Get a few men. Have them out before dark."

Murray nodded, then said to Molly, "Come on. I'll have someone escort you while you help Mrs. Sullivan pack."

"Ma'am, I've served the White family my entire life. I'm sick all over now—I just want to stay here and live out my remaining years. Please don't throw us out."

Andres didn't want this kind of mess upsetting his mother, so he gave Murray a look.

Murray understood instantly.

He stepped in front of Mrs. Sullivan and Molly, blocking their path with a hard stance.

"When Mr. Andres gives an order," Murray said, "he doesn't take it back."

"If you don't want to make this uglier than it already is, pack your things and go."

Mrs. Sullivan pointed at Maeve and started shrieking, her voice turning vicious.

"It's all because of this little vixen! Before she showed up, everything was peaceful. After she came, it's been one disaster after another!"

"Mr. Andres, you've lost your mind, throwing us out for some nobody woman who crawled in from God knows where. After everything we've done!"
