Divorce Failed! My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 293

By the time they got back to Azure Bay, it was already 10:30 p.m.

They went through their usual routine of "trying for a baby."

Afterward, in the lingering heat of the sheets, Andres still chose to come clean about something.

"I'm going to show you a photo," he said. "Don't get mad."

He held up the tabloid-style shot taken at the airport in Africa—the infamous "scandal" picture.

Thanks to Hans working behind the scenes, most of the online rumors about Andres and that so-called innocent girl in white had already been scrubbed.

But Andres had thought it over and decided Maeve deserved to hear it from him.

Whoever was orchestrating this wouldn't stop just because the internet got cleaned up.

The goal was obvious: use fake gossip about him and another woman to drive a wedge between him and Maeve.

Maeve looked at the photo—him and a woman posed as if they were about to fall into each other's arms—and snorted with laughter.

"Whoever Photoshopped this did a terrible job. It looks fake as hell."

Andres blinked. "It's Photoshopped?"

He didn't remember touching the woman.

But at the airport she had, in fact, thrown herself at him like she was on a stage.

A skilled photographer could absolutely use angles and timing to create a scandal—like how actors "kiss" on camera without actually kissing.

Hans was basically a hacker, and even he hadn't spotted obvious editing.

Maeve zoomed in and tapped the screen in a few spots.

"Here, here, and here—the resolution's inconsistent."

"It's subtle, but this was definitely altered."

"This picture was attached by a fan of the original author."

"They said the warlord and the heiress should look exactly like this."

By the time Hans explained it, Andres had been speechless.

He never imagined he'd end up "cast" in someone's fantasy drama like this.

While Andres explained, Maeve's hands slowed, then stopped. She turned the laptop around again, this time showing him a fresh set of results.

"The first IP that uploaded it is right here."

Andres read it and immediately frowned.

"The Morales family?"

The address was painfully specific—street, road, gated villas—and the registered homeowner was Luka.
