Divorce Failed! My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 299

It wasn't until Maeve mentioned the organ-harvesting clinic that Mrs. Lowell truly felt a stab of pain.

Sienna noticed the change in her mother's expression immediately.

Instinct screamed: if Mom started feeling sorry for Naomi, Sienna's position in the Lowell family would crack.

She forced out a fresh set of tears and said hoarsely, "Mom… then bring Naomi home."

"She suffered so much out there. It's all because of me. If she can't stand me, I understand."

She wiped her cheeks, playing the part of the selfless victim to perfection. "As long as Naomi comes back, I'll move out. That way she won't feel upset every time she sees me."

Whatever sympathy Mrs. Lowell had begun to grow vanished in an instant.

"No," she said sharply. "Whether she comes back is her choice. But you are staying with us."

As Mrs. Lowell pulled her into a hug, Sienna shot Maeve a triumphant, poisonous look.

Like she was saying: try whatever you want—you won't shake my place here.

Compared to Naomi, Sienna was the real princess of the Lowell family.

From the lounge area, Andres felt his disgust spike.

He couldn't believe people could be this shameless. It rewired his understanding of the world.

Watching the crowd tilt toward that vile mother and daughter, Andres couldn't sit still anymore.

Maeve didn't deserve to be humiliated like this.

He was about to stand when he caught Maeve's fingers twitch.

Something tiny flashed between Maeve's fingers and vanished a second later in a dusting of ash. It happened too fast for anyone else to notice.

But Andres's instincts flared. Maeve was setting something up.

She stepped closer and lightly patted Sienna's shoulder.

"You're right," Maeve said, tone suddenly calm. "I was sticking my nose where it didn't belong."

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have stood here acting morally superior, judging someone else's family."

"Get away from me! Do you really think I need some low-class trash like you to 'let' me have anything?"

"I'll tell you the truth—I hate Naomi, and I hate you just as much!"

"Because you're both filthy little roaches crawling out of the sewer!"

The room froze.

Everyone stared.

A second ago she'd been a fragile little flower. Now she sounded like a different person entirely.

Even Mrs. Lowell looked shocked. "Sienna—how can you say you hate Naomi?"

No matter how distant she felt from Naomi, blood was still blood.

Sienna yanked herself out of Mrs. Lowell's grip, her face twisted with venom. "I don't just hate her."

"I wish she'd die."
