Divorce Failed! My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 302

Ever since Naomi had been welcomed back into the family, Sienna's "fainting spells" had become suspiciously frequent.

After what happened today, Mrs. Lowell couldn't help wondering if all those earlier episodes had been staged, too.

Sienna "woke" with a frail, shaken expression. "Mom… what happened to me?"

Mrs. Lowell forced patience into her voice. "You fainted."

Natalia added, "Based on your pulse, miss, you fainted from emotional shock—someone upset you badly."

After Sienna went down, someone in the store had called an ambulance.

When the paramedics arrived, a doctor asked, "Who's the patient?"

A bystander pointed. "Her. She fainted. That young lady in the white dress brought her back with acupuncture."

The doctor listened to Sienna's heartbeat and looked at Natalia with open admiration. "That was impressive."

Natalia dipped her head, putting on a modest smile. "You're too kind. Saving lives is what we're supposed to do."

The crowd immediately showered her with praise.

Then Natalia turned the knife toward Maeve again. "I think you owe this young lady an apology."

Andres walked over and draped an arm across Maeve's shoulder like it was the most natural thing in the world.

"If you want her to apologize," he said evenly, "you'll need to ask me if I allow it."

Most people there didn't recognize him. Mrs. Lowell did—she'd seen him at certain high-level events.

Mr. Andres White, one of the most powerful men in Aethelburg.

She reacted fast. People like that weren't meant to be offended. One wrong move and the fallout could reach your entire family.

She wasn't about to gamble her family's future over Sienna.

So she turned to the paramedics and said, "My daughter still looks very weak. Please take her to the hospital right away."

A clear message to Natalia: no apology was needed, and the conversation was over.

With Mrs. Lowell accompanying them, the paramedics lifted Sienna—still pale and delicate-looking—onto the stretcher and wheeled her out.

Evidence in broad daylight.

After that, no matter how calmly Andres claimed he didn't know her, most people weren't going to believe it.

Natalia put on a fake little shriek. "Oh my gosh—how did that fall out?"

She reached down to grab it, but in her "panic," the thin piece of paper somehow kept slipping from her fingers, again and again, like she couldn't possibly pick it up.

The remaining onlookers recognized the two people in the photo instantly.

"Oh—so are they a couple?"

In the picture: Andres and Natalia.

But right now, Andres's arm was wrapped around Maeve's shoulder.

Someone muttered, "So… new girlfriend, old girlfriend? He just upgraded?"

Another voice, dripping with certainty: "Men. Always the same."
