Chapter 55 Secretary Duties.
Halle didn’t want long-term relationships, but she also wasn’t interested in just sleeping around. When she dated, it was like a real couple living together, sleeping together, going out-but it only lasted six months.
Ayla had just learned this while chatting with her and couldn’t help laughing. “So, you only
love me.”
Halle blew her a kiss and sang, “Loving you is a secret. I don’t even understand the meaning behind your smile…
Ayla was left speechless.
Feeling worried, she waited for Halle’s boyfriend and quickly sized him up.
He looked like a celebrity, had a model’s body, was easy on the eyes, and was attentive to Halle.
Halle had a few requirements for a boyfriend: handsome, good body, no bad habits, and someone who was obedient and caring.
Ayla thought to herself, Halle got what she wanted. Good for her.
Ayla drove back to the office and got a call from Will on the way.
Now that she knew Halle was about to break up, she couldn’t help but realize that Will actually met Halle’s boyfriend standards.
Ayla couldn’t help but smile.
What am I doing?
Pre-selecting boyfriends for Halle?
She collected herself. “Mr. Newton, what’s up?”
“Since you’re not at the office, can you pick up the custom watch and suit for Mr. Storm’s charity event tomorrow night and deliver them to his place? You know the passcode.”
Ayla said, “Sure.”
Will quickly sent her the address.

She went to pick up the watch first-a Patek Philippe custom perpetual calendar mechanical watch, with a meteorite dial, worth almost 20 million dollars. Definitely a collector’s piece.
Not many people buy watches this expensive. Draven must be a collector.
Ayla carefully carried the expensive watch, and went to pick up the suit. Pure black, no logos, but you could tell just by looking that it was high-quality. Heavy as hell.
She took it and left, not noticing Laura walking into the store just after her.
Laura was there to pick up three custom suits for Troy.
Did Mrs. Winston come to get them herself? She has been home for half a month. She finally couldn’t hold back, huh.
Laura rolled her eyes. Ayla’s behavior over the past two weeks had worn out her sympathy.
If she had any guts, she should keep it up and never come back!
Because Ayla already picked up the suit, Laura planned to just go home.
But she was used to being thorough, so she went back to ask the staff just to be sure.
What she found out was completely unexpected. The suit Ayla took wasn’t Troy’s.
Then whose is it?
Not some other guy’s, right?
If that was the case, that meant Ayla was cheating!
But Laura quickly stopped herself from jumping to conclusions. She’d worked for the Winstons for years and knew how much Ayla loved Troy.
Ayla would never cheat.
Maybe she’d secretly had a suit custom-made for Troy. She’d been making trouble for so long, and Troy hadn’t bothered to coax her back. She was probably feeling embarrassed and trying to find a way out for herself.
With a new custom suit as a gift, she’d have an excuse to go home.
Too bad Mr. Winston never used anything she gave him-it was a waste of effort.
But who could she blame? She’d brought this on hersel Even a high-end custom suit wouldn’t make Mr. Winston forgive her so easily.

Ayla knew Draven was a clean freak, so she went home first to grab a pair of shoe covers. Then she drove to his house, tapped six ‘T’s, and after a beep, opened the door and walked in.
She walked into the living room, with massive floor-to-ceiling windows. The white marble coffee table was so clean it reflected the light.
Ayla put everything down and was about to leave when she heard footsteps.
Is Mr. Storm home?
She looked toward the sound and saw James holding a phone.

Why is half of each of these chapters missing? The story sort of trails off in the middle of the chapter. That’s unfortunate....
