Divorce me I'm done serving you (Ayla) novel Chapter 611

Chapter 611 It’s Him

If Draven were here, they’d definitely be taking photos, sitting at a café under the sun with cobblestone streets outside, and sipping coffee. They’d kiss openly beneath the sunlight, just like all the other couples who came for the fireworks.

Just imagining that scene made Ayla so happy that her eyes stung.

She put on her sunglasses and walked slowly through the streets.

A few blocks away, Draven sat in a café, quietly drinking his coffee.

Back in Drakoria, he knew every detail of Ayla’s schedule. But for the past two days, he had purposely avoided checking any news about her and had come to Theoriel alone.

Maybe it was just sentimentality.

Or maybe today meant too much to him. He didn’t want to ruin it by spying on her. He wanted to keep something beautiful preserved in his heart.

Draven couldn’t help wondering if he might run into Ayla tonight.

Would she even come?

Her babies were due soon. Maybe she wouldn’t.

Eight o’clock.

With a loud boom, a silver-white firework shot into the night sky. It exploded, splitting into countless sparks that didn’t fade right away. Instead, they stretched into glowing trails, slowly drifting down.

The entire city gathered along Silvara River. As the first firework bloomed, a wave of awe- filled cheers erupted.

Ayla looked up, her eyes bright. She had to admit that it was breathtaking.

The beauty was undeniable. People were everywhere, smiles all around. The warmth and excitement filled the air, enough to lift even the worst mood.

And whenever she felt happy, her instinct was to share it with the person beside her.

But no one was there.

For some reason, Ayla suddenly felt that Draven might be here. The feeling started faint as the second, third, and fourth fireworks lit the sky, it grew stronger.

She couldn’t stay still anymore. She wanted to find him.

There was no proof-just a foolish impulse. Still she followed it.

She pushed through the crowd, running, searching, and pushing forward.

She wanted to see the one person she longed for most.

Across the river, Draven was also weaving through the crowd, looking for a familiar face.

It was pure instinct and no logic behind it at all.

A voice in his head kept telling him Ayla might be there.

Fireworks burst endlessly above. On both sides of the river, two people moved through the crowds, unknowingly drawing closer. If there had been music, it would’ve felt like a perfect movie scene.

Suddenly, Ayla grabbed a man’s arm. Her heart leaped into her throat.

He looked so much like Draven.

At the same time, Draven stopped, staring at the woman in front of him.

White fireworks exploded overhead.

They saw each other clearly.

Draven’s eyes dimmed. It wasn’t Ayla-just someone who resembled her.

Ayla’s voice shook with hope. “You-”

The man turned around. Her breath nearly stopped.

It wasn’t Draven.

It was Troy. D

Reality twisted cruelly. Of all people, it was the last person she wanted to see.

If she hadn’t hoped for anything, she wouldn’t have felt disappointed. But because it was Troy, the letdown hit even harder.
