Divorce me I'm done serving you (Ayla) novel Chapter 65

Herman and James were both handsome enough to stand out anywhere, but next to Draven, they looked dim.

Everyone in the hall froze when they saw him.

“I thought the CEO of Storm Group was around forty. How is he this young?”

“He built markets on several continents. His skills are insane. I did not expect him to look like this. He is part of Zheron, and he is young. He has looks, family, and power. He has zero flaws.”

“I planned to go say hi before he arrived. I thought maybe I could network a little. I was dreaming. With that kind of presence, I would not even get my words out.”

“Same here. I did not dare hold his gaze. If I walked up to him, my brain would shut off.”

Everyone wanted to meet the Storm Group CEO. The gap between them and him kept them in their place.

Troy, Rolf, and Max already knew the CEO was Draven. They knew his tie to Troy. They kept quiet.

Max did not expect to see James. James was his cousin.

James used to bully him because he was older.

When they were little, James would blame Max every time he did anything wrong, then cry and say, “Please do not punish Max. I will feel bad. I protect Max. Nobody can go near him.”

He did it while sobbing.

Max had grown up too fast. James taught him early that people could be cruel. His childhood took the hit.

Skyla stared at Draven and forgot to blink.

The moment she realized he ran Storm Group, her chest tightened. She wanted to get close to him right away.

Troy was already incredible. She never thought there would be someone even more extraordinary,

Skyla straightened her posture

without making it obvious./

Then she noticed the silence around her.

She checked Troy’s face. It was was always cold, but now it held a sharp frost. That anger was aimed

straight at Draven.

She stepped slightly aside and asked Rolf quietly, “What is going on?”

Rolf whispered, “Draven is Troy’s brother.”

Skyla’s breath caught.

Troy had never told her that.

Rolf added, “They have the same father. Different mothers. Their relationship is horrible.”

Skyla took it in, disappointed and startled. She shifted her gaze to Draven with regret she could not hide.

She liked getting close to powerful men.

But she liked staying safe more.

She knew better than to cross Troy before she even had a chance to approach Draven.

And Troy already stood at the top of Trensea.

Only a few men here could compare to him.

Troy’s face darkened.

Jed leaned close and said, “Mr. Winston, I can pull her back.”

Troy answered, “You want to embarrass yourself in front of everyone?”

Jed froze. Most people here did not know anything about Troy and Ayla.

If he went over, it would look strange.

His dislike for Ayla hit a new level.

To him, she was a woman who lived to embarrass herself.

Troy stared at Ayla for several seconds. It was the first time in a long time he actually looked at her.

If she wanted attention, she got it.

But she got it in the worst way.

He had not expected her to push this far.

The anger faded as fast as it came.

In the end, he did not care what she did. He did not even want to look at her again.

Helena stayed composed as she led Draven forward. Draven was young, but he was cold toward everyone.

Ayla knew this now. Draven treated Martin the same way. He talked more with Martin, but most of the time, he barely spoke at all.
