Ashton was almost entirely consumed by lust at that point, letting his passions run wild. He spent the following three hours with Miranda in a blur of passion that defied description.

It was finally dawn, and Miranda’s body remained feverish and completely drained of energy. She looked at Ashton with a mix of lingering grievance and a profound, wordlesscontentment.

She had never expected him to be so primal and rough, yet as she looked back on the night’s event, she found herself savoring every moment.

Ashton assumed a cross-legged position as his body temperature normalized. He was enveloped in wisps of black energy, grew increasingly powerful with each rotation, exuding an overwhelming pressure close to the peak divine realm.

“I’d expect nothing less from the chosen maiden. That Omni constitution is incredible,” Ashton murmured.

He felt a new surge of power in every fiber of his being, even though he had yet to completely refine and absorb the spiritual energy he had seized into his own being.

He would undoubtedly secure his standing within the peak divine realm once he had completely absorbed and refined the spiritual energy. He mused that this rate of progression was so fast that it was startling, even to him.

“If I could locate another chosen maiden with the extreme Lunar physique, I could definitely reach the peak divine realm and finally attempt to enter the otherworldly realm.”

He simultaneously utilized the Cosmic Breathing Technique and the Drakell technique, sinking into a meditative state of total

selflessness.

Several hours later, Ashton had successfully integrated almost the entirety of the spiritual energy seized from Miranda, resulting in a further elevation of his overall bearing.

“It’d be great if I could have a life-or-death fight right now,” Ashton muttered, though he recognized the impossibility of such a

scenario.

He knew that only someone at the pinnacle of the divine realm could face him now. He would need an opponent who was the strongest in the divine realm to truly push him to his limits-those standing on the very threshold of the otherworldly realm.

“If the opportunity arises, I could find an opponent in the otherworldly realm. If I’m outmatched, I can always count on my physical power to get away.”

Ashton knew he couldn’t afford to take the slow-and-steady path to power. He didn’t have the time to do so. He was well aware that high stakes were necessary for high returns.

“You’re up?” Ashton turned toward the fair-skinned Miranda, a smile lingering on his face while the Drakell technique vegan to flow through him again.

“W-What do you think you’re doing?” Miranda met Ashton’s gaze and once again felt that familiar burning intensity from him. She hurriedly kicked her legs and scooted back.

She had been completely worn out the night before.

“I’ll be leaving Linton Island tomorrow,” Ashton said.

Upon hearing that, Miranda flinched slightly, her previously stirred emotions fading as her heart sank. She looked slightly sad as she asked, “Do you have to leave so soon?”

She had always understood that Ashton wouldn’t remain on Linton Island, nor would he stay with her forever. She knew that he was a man destined to stand at the top of the world, and because of that, she didn’t try to hold him back.

Instead, she chose to provide silent devotion to the man who had claimed her entire being.

“I don’t have any time to waste since my enemies are powerful,” Ashten replied.

Miranda fell silent for a moment before asking “Is it possible for me to go with you, then?”
