Roxy and the others found that their fundamental beliefs were instantly destroyed. Their gaze, at that moment, held a glimmer of awe as they looked upon Ashton.

“What are you still doing here? Get out of here, you shameless bunch! Master Gray still has to teach us medicine! He doesn’t have time to waste on the likes of you!” Heidi snapped, directly ordering them to leave Whispering Emerald Manor.

Roxy, Eunice, and Tanya looked extremely displeased.

Roxy finally took a deep breath and stepped forward, asking gravely, “Have you enjoyed your moment of victory, Ashton? Mom’s stomach disorder has reached an extremely serious stage! You will hand over the medicine to cure Mom’s stomach disorder if you possess even a shred of human decency!”

“Y–You good–for–nothing! You’re dead meat!” Tanya erupted in a blinding fit of rage, trying desperately to break free and physically assault Ashton.

Eunice held Tanya back, frowning as she barked, “You ought to know that men are supposed to be generous and accommodating, Ashton! How could you be so petty! You shouldn’t be so utterly cold–hearted, even if you and the Sloans have bad blood!”

Ashton let out a derisive snort. “Who are you to judge? You should hold your tongue if you’re ignorant of the true reasons behind this! You’re not impressing anyone here with your unsolicited advice!”

Eunice snapped, “How dare you speak to me like that! Have you lost all sense of honor and manhood, Ashton!”

Ashton replied with a chilling finality, “Your opinion on my character is irrelevant, Eunice! Get out of here right now! You’re no longer welcome here!”

Roxy clenched her fists, the hostility in her gaze intensifying. “Your actions will only make me hate you even more, Ashton!”

Ashton’s face hardened with contempt. “Why would I care about your hatred? You already hated me once when I killed Calvin, so a little more hatred won’t make a difference to me now!”

Eunice grasped Roxy’s arm, declaring, “Let’s get out of here, Roxy! There’s no point begging this man! I’ll definitely find you another divine doctor, one who will be able to cure Mrs. Sloan’s stomach disorder!”

“I would have already been standing at the apex of the world if I hadn’t spent those ten years with you! You were the one who held me back, and now all I’m doing is seizing back every single thing I ever granted the Sloan family!”
