Sylvia’s purting, magnetic and full of allure, resonated deep within Ashton
Ashton thought Sylvia was truly growing, bolder by the day and mused that she would have to pay the price for her brazenness. Its immediately ripped away his own clothes and lunged at Sylvia with the intensity of a wild predator, ready to claim and devour Sylvia, his feline prey,
a
They had aap at it for two hours. Finally, Sylvia rested languidly on Ashton’s body, completely spent. She still gazed tenderly at Ashton, exclaiming, “You just keep getting better, Ashton!”
“You haven’t seen anything yet.”
“Oh? I’m completely spent, though,” Sylvia declared with a mischievous grin. “Why don’t I summon Melody over? She’s much younger and far more energetic, after all!”
Ashton fell silent at her suggestion. He held Sylvia close and, after a brief moment of affection, addressed the matter at hand, saying, “I’ve already refined and perfected the Complexion Elixir, so it will soon be ready for mass production and market release,
“Do you think you’re capable of handling the regulatory batch approvals and vetting process needed to enter the market? I’ll step in if that process proves difficult.”
Sylvia tightened her embrace on Ashton, her voice becoming soft and seductive while saying, “I can definitely take care of something this minor, Ashton. I’ll make sure Evermore Group will spare no effort in promoting it for you once the Complexion Elixir hits the market.”
Ashton gently stroked Sylvia’s delicate cheek and said with a smile, “I’ll split the shares 50-50 with you and Jaunch it through Evermore Group,
“If everything goes as planned, its profits alone will be enough to take Evermore Group to a whole new level, ensuring that Summit Group no longer suppresses Evermore Group at every turn!”
“Huh?” Sylvia’s body trembled slightly before she broke into a radiant smile, saying, “You treat me so well that I can’t think of how to repay you, Ashton. How about… I bear your child in return, Ashton?”
Having said that, Sylvia looked at Ashton with patent expectation. She was terrified of the prospect of losing Ashton, so she reasoned that the only way to guarantee a permanent place at his side was to solidify their bond by having a child together.
Ashton was slightly stunned.
“Is that a no?” Sylvia asked, her expression immediately falling
Ashton remained noncommittal, simply stating, “You see, my realm of power is continually ascending, and my bloodline is exceptional, which means a descendant isn’t easily conceived.
“You also have to know that my true background… is incredibly complicated. If we were to have a child, not only the child, but you yourself would be placed in grave danger!”
Ashton was acutely aware of the Drakeborne lineage that ran through his veins. He also knew that this very lineage was the reason the entire Drake family considered him a “half–breed” whom they viewed as a priority target for extermination.
He knew that one day, he would have to confront the Drake family, and that moment would undodedly deve into a battle for survival. That was why he spared no expense to become stronger. He wanted to protet Celia, Irene, and all the people he held dear,
Sylvia nestled into Ashton’s embrace and nodded gently in assent. She knew she could never force Ashton into anything. Her deepest desire had always been nothing more than the chance to remain close to him, and even the briefest time spent at his side was enough for her.
“Oh, that reminds me, Ashton. If you intend to launch the Complexion Elixir and truly crush Hozy’s Summit Beauty, you’ll need an immensely influential celebrity brand ambassador. That is the only way the Complexion Elixir can become an overnight sensation and completely capture the market!”
Having successfully risen to become the CEO of Evermore Group, Sylvia’s business acumen was clearly sharp,
Ashton asked, “Who is the most popular celebrity in Javonbury at the moment? Who do you think would make the best brand ambassador, Sylvia?”
Sylvia replied, “That absolutely has to be Martha Stone, the superstar of Summit Media! Martha commands immense influence, particularly her tremendous drawing power in the skincare and beauty sector. If we could land her as our brand ambassador, our product’s success would be virtually guaranteed!
“Martha, unfortunately, has been a long–term contracted celebrity with Summit Media. She has consistently refused to sever her contractual relationship with them, despite every lucrative offer I have made.”
Sylvia sighed with a hint of wistful jealousy upon bringing up the subject. “I have no idea what incentive Roxy provided to secure such unwavering devotion from Martha toward Summit Media.
“I simply anticipate she’ll renew her contract with Summit Media now that her contract is nearly up. I’m afraid our chances of securing her as our brand ambassador are next to none, Ashton.”
“Martha Stone?” Ashton repeated, a rush of memories from the past came flooding back to him.
“What’s the matter? You don’t happen to know Martha, do you, Ashton?” Sylvia asked, her curiosity piqued. Ashton nodded, replying, “I’m acquainted with her.”
“How did the two of you become acquainted?” Sylvia asked, curiosity written all over her face.
Ashton broke into a smile and asked, “You wanted Martha to terminate her contract with Summit Media and join Evermore Media to endorse our product, right?”
Sylvia nodded before replying, “That was my plan. You surely aren’t suggesting that you can pull it off, are you? That is far from easy! I’ve been aggressively trying to recruit Martha for years, offering terms nearly impossible to refuse, yet she always refused!
“I suspect that Martha’s connection with Roxy is far from simple, so recruiting her to Summit Media won’t be that easy, Ashton.”
