Chapter 400
Roxy had just returned to Lakeview Heights when she saw Ashton chatting happily with Sylvia and Martha outside. Their behavior was unmistakably flirtatious.
Seeing this rather intimate scene, Roxy felt a deep discomfort.
She still couldn’t understand what it was about Ashton that made so many outstanding women orbit him.
“Ashton, Roxy’s back.” Martha instinctively tensed up. A mix of nervousness and excitement flooded her.
Before, she could only watch with envious glances from afar as Ashton and Roxy were together.
But now, she could openly stay by Ashton’s side and call the man she loved “babe“.
At this thought, Martha seemed to want to make up for all those lost years. She wrapped her arms around Ashton and kissed him passionately while casting a glance at Roxy
Their lips didn’t part for a full minute. Martha’s sweet scent lingered in his mouth.
Ashton hadn’t expected her to be so bold, but it was just what he wanted.
The three of them had specifically gathered here to wait for Roxy. He wanted to provoke her further and push her to expand and invest more aggressively in Summit Beauty.
The higher she climbed, the harder she’d fall.
“Ashton, will Roxy come over?”
Sylvia wasn’t about to be outdone. She kissed Ashton on the cheek, playing along with Martha.
“She’s a proud woman. How could she not come to show off?” Ashton chuckled. “One of the main reasons she divorced me was to prove that everything she has comes from herself and not me. This is her chance to prove that. Plus, after the humiliation I put her through, she naturally wants to vent.”
No sooner had he finished speaking than Roxy clicked confidently in her black heels as she walked over.
She exuded a cold, aloof presence that commanded authority. Even Sylvia and Martha seemed somewhat subdued around her.
“Wait.”
As Ashton looked at Roxy, he raised a brow. He immediately noticed something different about her. The energy she gave off had grown softer and more ethereal.
That was a sign of cultivation.
What surprised Ashton even more was that his Drakell technique suddenly activated on its own.
As Ashton was lost in thought, Roxy arrived in front of them. She glanced at Sylvia and Martha, then looked at the lip marks on Ashton’s face before saying seriously, “Sylvia, Martha, I don’t know why you’re so obsessed with Ashton, but let me tell you, he’s not worth it. Don’t regret it later.
“One day, you’ll see Ashton for who he really is. He’s not as powerful as you think.”
“Babe, is Roxy jealous? What right does she have to lecture us?” Sylvia snuggled closer to Ashton with a sweet smile as she met Roxy’s gaze.
Martha hugged Ashton and said shyly, “Roxy, my babe is amazing. Thank you. I’m really happy right now.”
