Truthfully, Sylvia didn’t find Martha to be a considerable threat. The person she was the wariest of was still Roxy, the woman who had Ashton all to herself for ten years.

Yet, Sylvia soon breathed a sigh of relief. She could see that Ashton’s eyes were devoid of warmth. Those orbs held no lingering feelings for Roxy. Instead, they reflected a hint of disdain.

“The more I think about how well I’ve treated her in the past, the more I wish to crush her under my feet now.” Ashton let out a scoff and said, “Anna, I know you mean well. However, Ms. Sloan and I are simply enemies now.”

“Anna, would you be interested in coming and working for me instead? Roxy waved her hand dismissively. She refused to take in the smug looks on Ashton’s and Sylvia’s faces any longer.

“Mr. Gray and Ms. Langley… Please come this way.” Anna let out a deep sigh and forced a smile.

“Anna, you’re welcome to join us any time,” Ashton said with a smile..

“Mr. Gray, thank you for the kind offer. However, it was with Ms. Sloan’s help that I got to where I am today. I won’t ever betray her,” Anna said apologetically.

“I understand.” Ashton had no intention of staying any longer, since he had achieved his purpose in coming here.

Before leaving the place, he suddenly smiled enigmatically

Roxy’s eyes narrowed. As expected, Ashton had made Summit Media his target.

It would only hurt Summit Group if anything bad happened to Summit Media.

“I’ll be looking forward to seeing how you’ll bring Summit Media down. We’ll see if you’re really capable of it,” Roxy said frigidly.

“It’ll happen very soon… Meanwhile, you should enjoy being gripped by horror and unease.”

Ashton snickered. “You won’t be able to keep Summit Group, nor will you be able to keep Celia by your side.”

Someone pushed the door open just then. Eunice was beaming as she walked into the room in long strides.
