Chapter 450
“Such gallant souls you are. I was afraid you’d make a run for your lives!” Ashton said with a devilish grin. Come and meet your doom, then!”
His eyes blazed with his thirst for battle. The power of the Drakeborne lineage coursed through his veins, seemingly even more fired up. Instead of weakening, his punches grew even stronger.
Ashton had the strong feeling that, despite not hitting a new level of martial arts cultivation, his combat power had increased significantly. Such was the benefit of engaging in an all–out slaughter.
At the same time, he sensed that the spiritual energy he’d absorbed from Sylvia and the others had been fully refined, becoming one with his body at last. A dark light seemed to gleam all over him.
“How fun!” Ashton shouted as he carried on with the brutal massacre.
He continued to defeat all of his opponents with a single punch each. There were no exceptions.
“I’ve found your weakness! Time to die!” Cornelius shouted out of nowhere before cackling viciously.
His palm was covered in the Heart–Devouring Parasites he’d created. They were black in color and filled with potent inner energy as they took the form of a palm strike that shot right toward Ashton’s heart.
Cornelius had found the perfect time to strike, which was just when Ashton withdrew his fist after throwing a punch. He had no time to put up a defense against the Heart–Devouring Strike.
The Heart–Devouring Strike combined Cornelius‘ strength as a transcendent realm expert with the power of the Heart–Devouring Parasites. Even Flint and Ronan felt apprehensive when they saw the attack.
“The fight’s over. Ashton’s dead now,” Ronan declared, confident that Ashton couldn’t survive the strike.
Flint sneered. “He’d better at least remain just barely alive. I want to see him suffer a pain worse than death!”
Elise, Whitney, and all the other women paled, their hearts sinking. Even though they wanted to help, it was too late.
“Don’t die! I haven’t slept with you yet!” Whitney shouted.
Only then did she realize that Ashton had already taken over her entire heart. Terror seized her as she feared that something bad might happen to him.
“Don’t lose, darling!” Elise called out, her body trembling as she feared the worst.
However, Ashton seemed to ignore the threat against his life as he turned toward Elise and Whitney.
Grinning in delight, he declared, “I heard what the two of you said! Just you wait. Your man is going to give you the head of that Jalunese bastard as a gift!”
The moment he finished speaking, dark flames flickered in his eyes. Every fiber of his being seemed to vibrate. Not only did he not avoid the attack, but he even met it head–on.
A deafening boom rang out as the Heart–Devouring Strike slammed squarely into Ashton’s chest.
Everyone jolted in shock, but soon, they looked mystified.

They realized that the Heart–Devouring Strike didn’t result in Ashton’s crushing defeat. In fact, it didn’t even leave a mark on his chest. It seemed as though he’d absorbed that lethal blow and remained completely unscathed.
“How did you…”
Comelius‘ eyes widened in horror as he stared at Ashton from point–blank range, his body quaking. Clenching his jaw, he unleashed all of his strength to try to amplify the power of the Heart–Devouring Strike.
But even so, it caused no harm to Ashton at all. In fact, the parasites had been destroyed by the dark flames, just as the others had been.
“What’s going on? How did you manage to withstand the Heart–Devouring Strike? That’s only possible… if you’re a divine realm expert!”
Comellus looked absolutely terrified.
