Chapter 460
Ashton carried Whitney into her room and swiftly locked the door behind them before tossing her onto the bed.
Even though he’d unleashed all of his aggression earlier, he still had a ton of lust that hadn’t been released yet.
As his scorching breath washed over Whitney, she yelped. She never expected him to get this rough. It was as though she were a helpless bunny facing off against an enraged beast, destined to be completely ravaged.
“If I’d known this would happen, I wouldn’t have stepped forward…” Whitney mumbled, feeling her face burn hot.
She didn’t expect him to have such an intense reaction. Even though she was prepared to do it with him, she was still feeling quite panicked right now. After all, she had no prior experience!
“Hey-”
She tried to say something, but it was already too late.
It went on for two hours. Even when it was finally over, the air still seemed charged with lingering intimacy.
Whitney lay against Ashton’s chest, her gaze even more affectionate now, though her body was still aching. She’d completely underestimated him.
She’d previously heard the other women saying that most men only seemed fierce but couldn’t last more than three seconds.
Alas, Ashton showed her what it truly meant to be relentless and tireless. She barely had any strength left, yet she discovered that Ashton seemed even more energetic than before, the fire in his deep eyes still burning.
He probably would’ve continued to have his way with her if she hadn’t been completely spent. What a beast he was!
“Are you really going to challenge Flint in ten days to replace him as the ruler of Javonbury’s criminal underworld?” Whitney asked.
Now that she had a taste of what it felt like to be intimate with a man, she felt even more concerned for him.
“What happened to calling me darling?”
Ashton held her close, smiling as he admired her bashful, enchanting face. At the same time, he examined his own body. He sensed another wave of scorching spiritual energy surging within him, slowly fusing into his body and further strengthening it.
He couldn’t help but marvel at how incredible the Drakell technique was. It felt even more miraculous to him
now,
Whitney buried her face against his chest and whispered, “You’re so mean, darling.”
“You haven’t seen anything yet.”
Ashton chuckled as he caressed her smooth skin. “In ten days, Flint will meet his end, and I’ll become the new ruler of Javonbury’s criminal underworld. When that happens, I’ll put you in charge of even more businesses.”

“Okay,” Whitney said sweetly. “We’ve already gathered some of the intel Blossom Hall has on record. If you need us to do anything, just say the word.”
Blossom Hall was now fully behind Ashton.
If he became the new ruler of the criminal underworld in ten days, Blossom Hall would be able to have a firm foothold in Javonbury and become a formidable faction as well.
But if he lost, Blossom Hall would go down with him.
Ashton nodded before getting out of bed. He seemed to radiate a dark glow, his strength now fully restored. This method of recovery was faster–and far more pleasant–than any pill he could’ve taken.
“Aren’t you going to stay the night, darling?” Whitney asked reluctantly.
“I need to work on my cultivation,” Ashton replied.
He hadn’t forgotten that tonight was his final night accompanying Martha. Being a man of many women, he had to make the most of his time and give everyone an answer they could not refuse.
He also had the feeling he was becoming pretty good at that.
