“What’s there to be scared of?” Ashton asked boldly. “Mr. Clarkson Senior, as long as the Jalunese Martial Association dares to harm Casoria and commit evil on our lands, I will kill them!”

After pausing, he said with a confident smile, “I’ll make you another promise, Mr. Clarkson Senior. One day, I will set off to Jalun and challenge Wycliffe Gorham. Sally’s long, slender legs appeared in Ashton’s mind. He’d almost forgotten about her, the flawless woman that Louie had given to him.
