Divorced and Dominant Now You Cry novel Chapter 631

Chapter 631

Deep down, Ashton had already sentenced Maxwell to death.

After all, Maxwell had repeatedly tried to kill him, worsened Lawrence’s injuries countless times, and now had even allied with the Jalunese Martial Association. Given Ashton’s nature, there was no way he would let him off.

You?Leona frowned, letting out a short hum, and said nothing more.

A gust of wind swept through, scattering the chaotic energy. Finally, everyone could see the outcome of the fight clearly.

In an instant, their eyes widened as if they were witnessing a nightmare.

What stood before them was Lawrence, still planted firmly on the platform, his fist buried straight through Maxwell’s abdomen. The blow had punched clean through him.

Blood soaked both men, dripping onto the floor in slow, steady droplets, and this was not an illusion.

Lawrence finally withdrew his fist. His face had gone an unhealthy shade of white. His body swayed, and his breathing came in broken gasps.

Mr. Clarkson Senior!

Ashton moved swiftly, stepping forward to support the swaying man. Streams of inner energy flowed into Lawrence, trying to stabilize his injuries. But the moment he connected, dread hit him.

The backlash Lawrence was enduring was extreme. Cracks spread through his internal organs, and the lingering sword energy left behind by Kayden was devouring the last of Lawrence’s life force.

Ash, I’m still alive.

Lawrence smiled faintly, steadying himself. He straightened into a commanding stance, his gaze drilling down into Maxwell. His fingers curled into fists again, as if preparing to finish him once and for all.

Maxwell gritted his teeth and took a cautious step back, raising a shimmering white barrier around himself. Only then did he glance down at the gaping, bloodsoaked wound in his abdomen. Rage and fear twisted his features, and every muscle of his was taut with pain.

He had come terrifyingly close to dying at Lawrence’s hands. If he hadn’t shielded his heart in time, the strike would have punched through it.

Even so, he was in grave danger. His body had taken irreparable damage, and it could likely affect his future advancement in

cultivation.

Sir!

Ronan and Felix moved like lightning, closing in on Maxwell and shielding him with their bodies.

At the same time, Neil and the others rushed to Lawrence’s side. Seeing the old man’s weathered face, their chests tightened with pain.

Let’s go,Maxwell growled, clutching his wound as blood seeped through his fingers.

He knew that he had already lost the fight. If he continued, Lawrence would kill him.

Leaving? You think I’ll let you?

Lawrence drew in a deep, steadying breath and pushed Ashton’s hand aside. The air around him crackled with raw power, a violent force that tore forward like a tidal wave.

His eyes locked on Maxwell, sharp and unyielding.
