Chapter 728
Ashton’s assault was relentless. He pressed the advantage with such ferocity that he left his opponent with virtually no space to recover or respond.
Felix was deeply shaken when he realized that Ashton’s power in the transcendent realm was already comparable to that of the semi–divine realm.
That discovery caused his dread and apprehension to surge to an all–time high.
He realized now that Ashton was far more dangerous than he had initially anticipated. He understood that if Ashton ever reached full maturity, he would be the ultimate nightmare for anyone standing against him.
He finally understood why Lawrence had placed such immense trust in Ashton, risking everything to back him–he had truly gambled the future of the Legion on Ashton’s potential.
“Ashton must die!” Felix roared. He unleashed the full extent of his semi–divine realm strength in a desperate, all–or–nothing move as veins bulged across his body.
He could no longer afford to delay the fight. He had to finish it quickly and exhaust Ashton as much as possible, even if he ultimately failed to defeat Ashton.
Felix’s eyes flashed with malice. Amid the vibration of clashing metal and blood seeping through his skin, he roared, “Universal Dominion!”
Felix’s semi–divine realm power became a burning torrent directed at Ashton as the surging inner energy filled the surroundings. His vitality weakened instantly, and his skin shriveled as he sacrificed everything for one final attack.
He was exhausting all his resources, detonating his full strength in a single moment for his ultimate strike, knowing he would face a horrific backlash. He didn’t care about the consequences anymore. He was determined not to let Ashton walk away from this alive.
“Your biggest mistake was joining the Legion, Ashton! You’re dead meat!” Felix thrust his hands out, unleashing the full killing intent of his Universal Dominion technique.
In that instant, it tore toward Ashton like a ravenous beast with its jaws wide open, ready to end him.
That attack completely cut off Ashton’s escape. Felix had put everything on the line with this one decisive, desperate move.
Flint, Ronan, Neil, Kayla, and the others stood up anxiously. They knew that in such a life–or–death match, the winner and loser were determined in a heartbeat.
“What an overwhelming pressure! That killing intent shows Felix is prepared to perish alongside Ashton! He is actually willing to sacrifice his own life to kill Ashton since the enmity between the Dominion Vanguard and the Legion has reached this point!”
“Ashton’s done for! He’s too inexperienced! He’s just a transcendent realm expert, so there’s no way he can take a hit like that without being left half–dead! He’s just facing the first opponent from the Sage’s faction as well!”
“It seems like this would be Ashton’s final moment of glory! That so–called peerless figure is destined to become nothing more
than a dead man!”
“I’ll see if Ashton can maintain that unruly attitude while he’s bleeding out! I’ve always hated how arrogant he is!”
Ashton was pushed to the brink as the terrifying killing intent closed in, but he remained absolutely calm about it, a mocking smile playing on his lips.
He clenched his fist, his body resonating as his Drakeborne lineage accelerated through his veins, allowing a savage, unrestrained killing intent to pour out of him.
He closed his eyes as he pictured Lawrence’s masterful execution of the Sixfold Carnage Fist, ignoring the incoming killing intent. He shot his eyes wide open the moment the Universal Dominion struck, revealing what looked like two black dragons
