Chapter 731
“I’m sending you straight to hell, you good–for–nothing!” Ronan snapped.
Drawing a deep breath, his joints cracked under the strain. A semi–divine realm aura rolled outward, far surpassing Felix’s.
Each step he took crushed the ground beneath him, the earth buckling as if it could no longer bear his weight.
One heartbeat later, he stood in the life–or–death arena. He stared at Ashton with cold indifference, already marking him as a dead man.
Ashton had humiliated him too many times and cost him his title as the deputy head of the Dominion Vanguard. His hatred for Ashton burned just as fiercely as Felix’s.
More importantly, Maxwell had given his word before Ronan came here–if he killed Ashton, his position would be reinstated. This was his best shot, and he wasn’t sure he’d get another.
Ronan was utterly convinced of his own strength. In his eyes, Ashton was already trapped. No matter how fiercely Ashton struggled, the outcome was set. He almost welcomed Ashton’s defiance, knowing it would only make the end more satisfying.
“Ronan is making his move. This is the real semi–divine realm expert we’re talking about. His power is on a completely different level than Felix’s. Forget the rumors. There’s no way Ashton wins this fight. To everyone singing his praises, let’s see
if the beat can even survive the first round.”
“Ronan is going to kill him. There’s no doubt about it.”
“I can’t wait to see Ashton’s miserable end.”
The pressure in the arena surged again, heavy with killing intent. As the two rivals locked eyes, their mutual hatred reached a breaking point.
“Any last words, Ashton?” Ronan asked flatly. “This is your final warning. Once I make my move, there won’t be a second
chance.”
Ashton felt the killing intent radiating from Ronan, his gaze sharpening in response. He could clearly sense that this was a true
life–or–death situation.
Ronan’s power was undeniable, but that was exactly what Ashton had been waiting for.
“The one who should be talking about ‘last words‘ is you,” he countered.
He met Ronan’s gaze without a trace of fear. If anything, he wanted Ronan to be stronger. He could already sense the pull of a true life–or–death fight, enough to set his nerves on edge.
“Ignorant brat! I’ll show you the true power of the semi–divine realm.”
In an instant, Ronan blurred forward. The space above Ashton twisted as a massive palm of condensed light formed overhead and slammed down. It carried a weight that felt heavy enough to pin him to the ground, intent on crushing him flat.
His movements were fluid and lethal, stripped of any wasted motion. The power behind that single strike already eclipsed Felix’s ultimate attack.
Ashton didn’t dare underestimate it. He went all in as something in his blood answered the pressure, and he drove out a Sixfold Carnage Fist.
The two forces slammed together, and the collision burst into a blinding flash as the thunderous impact rolled on without pause.
In an instant, Ashton staggered backward several steps. Pain flared through his body, and Ronan’s raw power shook him.
The next moment, Ronan pressed the attack. His strikes came fast and relentlessly, boxing Ashton into a confined space and giving him no room to breathe. He intended to crush Ashton into the dirt.
