Cadence’s expression abruptly shifted, and a look of despair flashed across his face.

“Neither of you are worthy of becoming my opponent.”

All of a sudden, Ashton’s low and hellish voice rang out beside Cadence and Tybalt. The pair jerked their heads upwards, and a chill ran down their spine. They felt as if the Grim Reaper himself was staring them down.

“Sovereign Flame,” Ashton declared emotionlessly.

Afterward, fire blazed in his dark eyes before blood began to seep from the corner of his eyelids.

Cadence and Tybalt trembled violently. They tried to look away, but an unseen force dragged their gaze back up against their will. Eventually, they found themselves staring into Ashton’s cold and merciless eyes.

Once they met his gaze, their eyes started to burn, and they proceeded to scream in agony.

They began to claw at their own faces. Blood poured from their skin, and black flames erupted across their entire body.

The flames were impossible to put out. No matter how violently their transcendent realm powers surged inside their bodies, neither of them were able to stop the flames from spreading.

As the unnatural flames roared violently, those who were closest to Cadence and Tybalt hastily staggered backward. Their faces drained of color, and a cold sweat broke across their skin.

Seconds later, Cadence and Tybalt were completely consumed by the raging flames. As terror and regret overcame the pair, their bodies gradually disintegrated and were soon reduced to ashes.

Moments afterward, the flames finally died out. However, Cadence and Tybalt were nowhere to be seen. The two of them had suffered a gruesome and tragic death.

“This is the price of betrayal!” Ashton spat in a domineering voice.

The horrifying scene left every single one of the bystanders mortified. Those who had defected to Flint’s side were now shaking with fear. On top of that, their faces had paled as well.

While some of the bystanders dropped to their knees, others were so terrified that they lost control of their bladders.
