of anguish.

He had already used up all of his trump cards. Logically speaking, he should’ve been able to kill Ashton more than once. But to his surprise, Ashton was still alive. To make matters worse, he had managed to drive him to the brink of despair.

Flint’s spiritual energy was nearly depleted, and his defenses were growing weaker. Despite the existence of a light barrier, his body was severely injured, and blood was seeping from his wounds.
