Chapter 884
The Shadow Conversion Pact would cease once Roxy was defeated.
Following a series of detonations, strands of residual energy dissipated into the air. To Leona and Faye’s surprise, their semi–divine realm strikes were completely blocked by the sealed barrier, and they didn’t manage to harm Roxy at all.
Leona and Faye grimaced before gathering their strength and launching another attack. To their dismay, they still couldn’t shatter the barrier.
Ashton shook his head and stopped the women from attacking further. “This barrier is formed by divine realm powers. It won’t break that easily.”
He turned to glare at Roxy. Evidently, he hadn’t expected Roxy to step in at this moment–let alone be able to utilize such a technique.
At the same moment, Cassian burst into laughter.
“Stop wasting your energy. You’ll never be able to break through this barrier,” he snarled, his voice dripping with venom. “The Shadow Conversion Pact’s barrier will hold as long as the pact remains incomplete. With your strength, you won’t even be able to leave a scratch on it.”
A white glow began to emanate from his body. Once Cassian sensed the pure power flowing from Roxy’s Primordial Innate constitution, he struggled to his feet and stood beside her.
Glaring at Ashton, he barked, “This fight isn’t over, Ashton. Once I return to the pinnacle of the divine realm, my cultivation level will rise, and it’ll finally be time for you to meet your demise!”
Cassian got back onto his feet, and his aura began to climb steadily. Upon seeing this, Leona’s and Faye’s expressions shifted, and concern began to dawn on their faces.
Ashton, on the other hand, seemed as calm as ever. As he rapidly circulated the Cosmic Breathing Technique, his Drakeborne lineage surged through his body and healed his injuries as quickly as possible. Since they couldn’t break through the barrier, he would simply use this time to recover.
As he analyzed his condition, a flicker of excitement flashed in his eyes.
After repeatedly pushing through his limits in life–or–death matches, his shackles had finally begun to loosen once more. This was his chance to break into the divine realm!
“I need to break past my limits one last time!” he declared.
Ashton’s gaze hardened with determination. Just as he had expected, this battle with Cassian was his turning point.
“Just surrender and leave this place, Ashton. Don’t ever return to Javonbury. You’ll never be able to win this fight!” Roxy suddenly called out.
Although her expression was cold, she felt slightly conflicted. To be honest, she hadn’t expected things

They used to love each other deeply, and they had believed that they would spend the rest of their lives together. At this point, she no longer cared who was in the wrong. After today, everything would come to an end.
