Blood sprayed across the battlefield as bodies slammed into the ground one after another, staining Terminus Cliff crimson.
Lawrence moved constantly across the battlefield. A shield of light formed in his left hand and blocked every incoming attack, while the Sovereign Silver Spear in his right hand swept forward with unstoppable force.
Not a single opponent had managed to withstand the power of one of his strikes.
In less than half an hour, Lawrence had already killed more than a hundred people. However, not a single drop of blood had stained his robe.
Seeing his unmatched presence on the battlefield, the legionnaires stood with tears in their eyes. Their backs were straight and their expressions solemn.
“Grandpa!”
Kayla stared at Lawrence as if seeing him for the first time.
She could barely remember ever seeing her grandfather fight. Most of the time, he simply sat in his wheelchair with his eyes closed, sighing to himself. He treated everyone gently and occasionally acted a little shamelessly despite his age.
“Ashton… Will my grandpa be all right?” she asked, sniffing as she fought back her worry.
Ashton frowned and opened his mouth to answer, but he ultimately remained silent. He already knew the final decision Lawrence had made. Once the stubborn old man resolved to do something, no one could stop him.
The only thing he could do now was pray that the slaughter would end quickly before Lawrence exhausted his spiritual energy. If that happened, he would rush forward immediately to stabilize Lawrence’s life force and try to save his life.
Just then, a chain of explosions echoed across the battlefield. With each blast, Lawrence’s killing speed increased even further, as though he were racing against time.
“Mr. Lachberg, save me!”
“Mr. Habergam, save me!”
As more people died under Lawrence’s attacks, the experts surrounding him were finally overwhelmed with fear.
One after another, they began retreating, no longer daring to face him head–on. At that moment, survival was their only concern.
If they had known it would come to this, they would never have entered his domain in the first place. They were completely outmatched.

Jaden and the other three continued launching divine techniques from a distance, trying to land a killing
blow.
Lawrence moved too quickly for most of their attacks to land, and the few that did struck harmlessly against his shield of light. Stopping him now would require a close–range fight to the death. None of them was willing to try.
Micah said coldly, “A Jalun fighter dies for his country. After you die, I’ll present Lawrence’s head at the shrine in your honor.”
Even as he spoke, he distanced himself from Lawrence. He chose to interfere only with long–range attacks while steadily draining Lawrence’s stamina and spiritual energy.
Jaden and Thomas hesitated for a moment before stepping back as well. Instead of confronting Lawrence directly, they continued preparing stronger techniques from a distance.
Their reasoning was simple. If they could wear Lawrence down and kill him, any number of casualties would be worth the cost. No sacrifice mattered as long as it wasn’t their own life.
Gavin’s expression was even colder than the others. The lives of those experts meant nothing to him. As long as they weren’t members of the Lowery family’s direct bloodline, their deaths were irrelevant.
