“Huh?” Scarlett was totally lost as to what Ashton meant.

“You have to take him down and break his limbs, Mr. Leighton! I’ll execute him personally and sink him in the Linton River!” Raymond bellowed.

However, he received no response from Cyrus.

“M–Mr. Leighton?” Raymond muttered, feeling compelled to prompt Cyrus.

Cyrus finally regained his composure, his heart quivering as waves of fear and panic washed over him. He never would have thought he’d run into Ashton at Supreme Club.

He had personally witnessed Ashton strike down a divine realm expert with a single sword last night and obliterate the Harmony Sect. He was still utterly shaken by what he had seen.

Maddox’s assessment suggested that Ashton possessed power so immense that it defied comprehension. Not long ago, he had strictly ordered Cyrus to get on Ashton’s good side and ensure that the most beautiful women were delivered directly to Ashton’s side.

Cyrus, however, had led a group of men to directly confront Ashton instead. He realized with horror that it was no different from a suicide mission.

“You sure are acting like a big shot, Mr. Leighton,” Ashton stated coldly, casting a sideways glance at Cyrus.

Cyrus felt as if his soul were being ripped out from sheer terror when he met Ashton’s profound gaze. He instantly turned his killing intent toward Raymond.

He realized that if he failed to appease Ashton, both he and the Apex Martial Academy would be doomed. After all, he remembered the carnage Ashton was capable of all too well.

“You’ve got a goddamn death wish for insulting Mr. Gray like that!”

Cyrus lashed out with brutal force, veins bulging as he stared Raymond down like a sworn enemy. He poured every ounce of his power into a barrage of strikes against Raymond’s face, showing no mercy whatsoever.

Raymond’s face soon buckled under the assault. His front teeth were knocked loose while blood poured from his mouth. His bloated features became even more repulsive, resembling a mangled pig’s head.

Cyrus went even further, delivering a sharp kick to Raymond’s kneecap and bringing him crashing to the floor. He then turned to Ashton and asked, “How do you want me to deal with this guy, Mr. Gray?”

Those present were completely caught off guard by the rapid turn of events. Zeke showed a hint of astonishment as well, his gaze lingering on Ashton as his curiosity deepened with every passing moment. “What’s going on here? Why is Raymond the one getting beaten up? It makes no sense at all! Cyrus and Raymond are known to be as close as brothers! There’s definitely something fishy about this!”

“Did I hear that right? Did Cyrus- the usually boastful one–actually address Ashton as Mr. Gray? How could that be possible? Who exactly is Ashton to strike such fear and reverence into Cyrus?”

“Haven’t you

all noticed? He’s not just revering Ashton. He’s absolutely terrified of Ashton, like he’s scared

of what will happen if he doesn’t strike first!”

“Is it possible that Ashton has a powerful background?”

“It seems like things are really heating up tonight!”

Ashton glanced at Cyrus and then at the mangled, bloody figure of Raymond on the floor. He then turned to Scarlett and asked, “What do you think we should do with the man who harassed you, Scarlett?”

“You want me to decide?” Scarlett swallowed nervously.

“If you have any demands, tell me now! I’ll see to it personally, Scarlett! I’ll be like a younger brother to you from now on. Whatever you need, just order me around!” Cyrus‘ expression brightened as he rushed to address Scarlett.
