“You really thought you could take me on, huh?” Zeke’s face was clouded with anger as he stepped over to Cyrus and looked down at him. “Have you had enough? Do you insist on disrespecting me or taking Raymond’s life, Mr. Leighton?”

Cyrus spat in defiance, his body racked with agony and his bones feeling shattered. He knew there was no turning back now since he had committed himself to Ashton’s side. He had to see this through to the finish.

“You really won’t learn until it’s too late! If I can’t force you to yield today, I’m not worthy of being the foremost scion of Linton Island!” Zeke’s gaze turned murderous as he aimed his foot at Cyrus‘ head, intent on establishing his dominance.

Just as Zeke was about to bring his foot down, Josiah’s expression shifted drastically, yelling, “Look out, Mr. Zapata!”

In a heartbeat, a force like a sudden hurricane swept through the private room, surging toward Zeke with the unstoppable momentum of a wildfire, aiming to strike him down.

Zeke looked up, his eyes widening in horror as a massive energy hurtled toward him. He went deathly pale as he scrambled back, pouring all his energy into a desperate light barrier.
