Underneath it all, the air was filled with the roars and screams of animals.

Bugs, snakes, rats–they were all crawling out of the woodwork.

Creatures you’d normally never see were everywhere now.

‘It’s finally happening. The world is getting a hard reset,” Josie said, lowering the binoculars. “Once this storm hits, order is gone. It survival of the fittest. The strong eat the weak.”

‘Buckle up. The apocalypse is officially here.”

Zane turned to look at her, his eyes narrowing. “You know, something about you just doesn’t add up.”

‘Oh?” Josie gave him a faint, hollow smile.
