Chapter 325.

Josie Quinn saw that they didn’t look like they were getting up anytime soon, so she simply said, “I hope you can keep today’s events a secret. I don’t want anyone else knowing my true strength. Understood?”
“Understood! We all get it!” The group nodded frantically. “I swear, I won’t say a single word about today! Not even half a syllable!”
“Exactly! We didn’t run into anything today!”
“Right, right! No fight happened, and there was definitely ho kraken!”
Josie nodded. “Good. Get up. That kraken was likely the overlord of this stretch of ocean. Its scent is still fingering, so other marine mutants won’t dare approach for a while.”
“Use this window of absolute safety to gather supplies.”
“I’ll haul back whatever you can find.”
This is a one-time offer. Don’t expect it again.”
“Yes, ma’am!” The scavenger squad was overjoyed. They scrambled to their feet and rushed off to find supplies.
They had to listen to the Boss!
They had to follow the Boss’s lead!
Once they left, Josie didn’t hold back either. She raised her hand and began a massive looting spree.
There was so much to take from a port like this.
Most of them were just oversized items. Ordinary people would want it but had no way to move it. Josie, however, had her spatial storage, so she had
no such concerns.
She looted as she walked. Anything that caught her eye was swept into her space. She could sort through it all once she got back!
Half a day later, the scavenger teams returned.
A mountain of supplies was piled before her. Without changing her expression, Josie swept it all into her space.
Because of Josie’s incredible efficiency, they had completed two days’ worth of work in a single day.
But since they were already out, it felt like a waste to head back so soon.
One of them spoke up timidly, “There’s a civilian port not too far from here. It has tons of shipping containers. Should we go check it out?”
Josie nodded nonchalantly. “Sure.”
It had been a year since the apocalypse began. Josie didn’t have high hopes for those containers anymore. No matter how well the goods inside were preserved, most of them had likely rotted or expired by now.
But she had time to kill.
୮
More importantly, her goal was to scout the area. Who was to say those nuclear warheads weren’t hidden somewhere else entirely?
She had to check everything. Just in case.
Leading the team, Josie decisively left the military naval base and headed toward the nearby civilian port.
The moment Josie left, the mutant fish and shrimp hiding in the deep sea finally let out a collective sigh of relief!
‘God, that was terrifying!*
That human is a monster!*
*An entire kraken horde, wiped out just like that!*
*Land dwellers really are still the overlords of this planet!
Josie and her team reached the civilian port shortly after.
