Doomsday Revenge: Payback Time (Josie) novel Chapter 333

< Chapter 333

Chapter 333.

Josie Quinn laughed at the shees absurdity of it all.

Seriously.

How could the timing be this perfect?

c

Just as she was about to find her target, an Undead ge started?

Fine. Great.

They were really forcing her hand, weren’t they?

She couldn’t even catch a break if she wanted to.

If it weren’t for Sean Voss, she really wouldn’t bother with this mess. But she couldn’t risk the Undead capturing him.

Cyrus Finch had launched this siege out of nowhere. It was highly likely he’d caught wind of her looking for someone inside the human base. B didn’t know why she was looking for him, he never missed a chance to make her life difficult.

Josie turned and began walking toward the southwest, moving against the tide of fleeing people.

As she walked, she fired a signal flare to gather her team.

Fine.

She’d treat this as a way to harden the team.

It was time for the Blue Owl Squad to level up.

The moment the members of the Blue Owl Squad saw Josie’s signal flare, they dropped everything and sprinted toward her location.

Within ten minutes, the entire team had arrived.

“Take advantage of this siege to train hard. It would be perfect if the whole squad could break through to Tier-5!” Josie pulled a mountain of suppli from her space-food to stave off hunger, stimulants to boost focus, and rapid-recovery kits.

They were all high-grade combat essentials.

The team moved with disciplined efficiency, quickly grabbing their shares and stuffing them into their pockets, preparing for the battle ahead.

No one asked why Josie was getting involved in the Newport City Sanctuary’s business. If she decided to do it, she had a reason. They only needed to follow orders.

“What are you still standing there for? Run!” Someone in the crowd saw them standing still and gave a well-meaning shout. The Undead are coping! Get to the underground plaza and hide!”

“If those things break through, it’ll be a massacre!”

“Is that so? Thanks for the warning,” Josie said with a nod. “Don’t worry. They won’t get in.”

The person looked at Josie and her team in confusion, sighed, and turned to run. “This girl is so young… has she lost her mind?” they muttered “How can humans beat the Undead?”

Meanwhile, the Tier-5 Super of Newport City had taken his position.

As the highest combat power in the city, the responsibility fell on him. He possessed a rare combat class power: Lightning.

However, his aptitud was a notch below Zane Shaw’s. His Lightning Orbs had a much smaller area of effect.

His face was pale as he watched the massive, suffocating wave of Undead approaching. If he weren’t the only hope for the humans of Newport City, he would have wished, he didn’t have to face this nightmare.
