Doomsday Revenge: Payback Time (Josie) novel Chapter 344

Chapter 344.

When the others saw how much food he had traded for, they went wild!

What did this prove?

It proved that this wealthy benefactress really wasn’t short on supplies! She was willing to trade no matter how much you had What was there to hesitate for?

Buy!

The people behind him acted like they were possessed, dumping every Core they had saved up in exchange for supplies. Josie and her team turned no one away!

As long as the Cores were sufficient, they could supply any quantity!

They worked from dawn until dusk.

Josie and the others only ate in quick, snatched bites. There were just too many people!

By the end of the first day, they had only processed about a hundred thousand people.

Josie declared right then and there that this wasn’t going to work. She would work herself to death at this rate!

The Base Commander of Newport City came over immediately to negotiate a partnership.

“How about this? Tell me what your stock is worth in Cores and sell a portion of it to me directly. I’ll open a secondary market on my end and run it simultaneously with yours,” the Base Commander suggested. “That way, ‘the pressure on your team will be much lower!”

“Fine!” Josie agreed instantly. “How many Cores do you have on hand?”

The Base Commander had come prepared.

With a wave of his hand, he had his men carry in several crates overflowing with Undead Cores.

Josie was just as efficient. She had her team count the Cores, and once the total was confirmed, she began pulling supplies out of thin air. *Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!*

A massive mountain of supplies appeared.

Then, she swept the Cores into her space.

“It’s a deal,” Josie said. “When you run out of stock, come back to me for more!”

“You have my word!”

On the second day, with the base handling a share of the trade, the pressure was indeed much lighter.

However, the crowds were still massive.

There was no helping it; the demand was simply too high!

Josie had no choice but to grit her teeth and keep seiling. That was the price for talking so big.

It was only five days, right?

She’d do it!

For five days straight, Josie worked until she was completely drained. She eventually collapsed onto her bed and refused to get up.

She’d rather go pick a fight with Cyrus Finch! Selling goods was way too exhausting!

The members of the Blue Owl Squad were equally spent.

On the sixth day, the entire team was fast asleep.

If it hadn’t been for the person on guard duty, they almost would have missed a vital piece of news,

had claimed to have found Sean Voss a few days ago had returned.
