Chapter 138: I’ll Avenge Them! [The Black Shadow]

"Now, Be gone!" She didn’t use the power of the sword or ask the shadow in black for help. Only her powerful determination and firm heart alone can kick all the devils out of her world.

Her voice was cold, and her face was indifferent, but she emitted the mighty, terror and oppressive breath that was very different from her usually gentle breath.

The group of people in black suddenly disappeared into the air. The red sky was empty, and the surrounding was quiet.

"Aren’t you angry? Don’t you hate those people?" The black shadow asked in doubt.

"I’m furious but not them." She said.

"What?" The shadow didn’t understand.

"I’m angry with myself. I hate myself for being weak. If I was stronger and my mind was a little ruthless when I dealt with my enemy, maybe my loved one wouldn’t end up like this." She looked far away in melancholy.

"Perhaps, I hate them for all the misery that they have caused to my and my family. But slowly, I will let go of my hatred. Hating them will make my heart burn with anger and unwillingness. I won’t live in hatred and miss the beautiful chance to see the beautiful world."

"Instead of hating them, I might as well take my time to focus on becoming stronger, so I can let them taste the taste of their medicine sooner."

"I mind! Why not! If they did the unforgivable thing, that I cannot tolerate, I will let them know the taste of their medicine." She said firmly. She wasn’t an unreasonable one. Doing so, she wanted to teach them the lessons, so they will receive the same feeling that the victims received.

But that doesn’t mean that she hates the one who hurt her. Hating and teaching them the lesson are different.

"You’re very intriguing." The shadow chuckled as the black shadow flew closer to her and leaning over. The shadow has to admit that her words and logic really opened a new world of perspective to it.

She is really different from other human being here. She was kind-hearted but she wasn’t naive. She was gentle, but she wasn’t weak. Likewise, she was affectionate, but she wasn’t ignorant. She was righteousness and thoughtful. Really....made the shadow more and more interesting in her.

"I have to go." She said plainly. Flying back, she put the sword in the original place.
